According to LaVelle Neal of the Minneapolis Star-Tribune, the Twins will call up Dillon Gee from Triple-A Rochester on Friday.

The Twins sent down Nik Turley and placed Ehire Adrianza on the disabled list, leaving a pair of open roster spots. One will be absorbed by Gee with the other going to Trevor Hildenberger. Gee inked a minor league deal with the Twins on Tuesday after the Rangers designated him for assignment last week. The right-hander will likely fill a long relief role for Minnesota.

Erik Gonzalez hit his second home run of the season in Thursday's win over the Orioles.

Gonzalez got the start in left field and hit a solo homer in the sixth inning, his only hit in three at-bats. At-bats have been scarce for the 25-year-old utility player, who has just 35 ABs in 16 games since being recalled on May 14. He's hit .314/.333/.514 in those appearances but would need an injury or two to garner any real playing time.

Wade Miley allowed eight hits and four runs over five innings in a loss to the Indians on Thursday.

Miley walked two and struck out just three in the outing. After a strong turn on June 1, the southpaw's ERA sat at 2.82; now, less than a month later, it's 4.48. The real Miley is somewhere between his stellar first two months and his miserable month of June to date, but it's not a particularly useful one for our purposes. The 30-year-old will look to right the ship against the Blue Jays when the two meet Wednesday.

According to Mike Bernardino of the St. Paul Pioneer Press, the Twins will call up Trevor Hildenberger from Triple-A Rochester on Friday.

Minnesota's bullpen is running on fumes after pitching 8 1/3 innings on Thursday and the Twins could obviously use a fresh arm or two. Hildenberger has impressed in the minors this year, producing a stellar 2.05 ERA over 21 relief outings for Rochester. This will be Hildenberger's first big league call-up.

Ken Rosenthal of Fox Sports reports the Royals have reached a deal with RHP Neftali Feliz.

Feliz was terrible with the Brewers earlier this year but perhaps he'll benefit from a change of scenery. The right-hander has a proven track record with 107 big league saves. In Kansas City, he'll fill a setup role in front of closer Kelvin Herrera.

Mike Clevinger allowed two runs on six hits over five innings in a win over the Orioles on Thursday.

Clevinger wasn't overly sharp, also walking four while striking out four, but he did well to limit the damage. The win was his first in over a month, pulling his record even at 3-3. He's got a 3.86 ERA and 1.26 WHIP in nine appearances, including eight starts, on the year, and he's been good enough to deserve a spot in the Tribe's rotation, at least for the time being. Clevinger will next take on the Rangers on Tuesday.

Orioles optioned RHP Gabriel Ynoa to Triple-A Norfolk.

The Orioles haven't announced a corresponding move, though they'll probably be looking to add a fresh bullpen arm. Ynoa wouldn't have been available for a couple days anyway after logging 2 1/3 innings in Thursday night's loss to Cleveland. The 24-year-old has compiled a 2.84 ERA over four outings for Baltimore in 2017.

According to Ken Rosenthal of Fox Sports, the Nationals have shown interest in Pat Neshek.

Neshek, who is headed for free agency in 2018, acknowledged that it's likely he'll be traded before the July 31 deadline. Nobody is more desperate for a closer than the Nationals and Neshek would seem to be a perfect fit. It's rare for teams to trade within the division but perhaps the two sides would make an exception. The Nats have also expressed interest in White Sox closer David Robertson and Padres lefty Brad Hand.
