Cody Bellinger went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run in Sunday's win over the Cubs.

After Willson Contreras hit a solo home run off Clayton Kershaw in the first inning to give the Cubs a 1-0 lead, Bellinger put the Dodgers ahead 3-1 with a three-run shot of his own against Jon Lester in the second inning. They would not trail again in the game. The rookie phenom has slowed by degrees of late, but is still hitting a robust .272/.344/.596 with 10 homers and 28 RBI in just 31 games played.

Enrique Hernandez went 1-for-3 with a three-run home run and two runs scored in Sunday's win over the Cubs.

Hernandez's three-run home run off Jon Lester in the third inning gave the Dodgers a 6-1 lead. He has been touching home plate quite a bit as of late, having scored six runs in his last four games. In that space, he has also collected two doubles (plus Sunday's home run). Overall, the versatile 25-year-old is slashing .253/.324/.535 with four homers and 16 RBI in 44 games played.

Anthony Rizzo went 2-for-5 with a two-run home run in Sunday's loss to the Dodgers.

Rizzo socked a two-run home run off Clayton Kershaw with one out in the fourth inning. After a lost start to the season, his bat has begun to catch fire -- he has slugged five homers in his last eight games. For the campaign as a whole, the first baseman is slashing .239/.369/.473 with 12 homers and 30 RBI across 184 at-bats. His buy-low trade window for fantasy purposes is closing rapidly if it has not already shut.
May 28 - 7:46 PM

Javier Baez went 2-for-5 with a solo home run in Sunday's loss to the Dodgers.

Baez socked a solo home run off of an unusually unsettled Clayton Kershaw in the fourth inning. The bomb was his eighth of the season. He has picked up multiple hits in three of his last eight games and is now slashing .268/.299/.500 overall.
May 28 - 7:44 PM

Clayton Kershaw did not pitch deep enough to qualify for a decision in Sunday's 9-4 win over the Cubs, surrendering four runs on 11 hits over 4 1/3 innings.

Kershaw struck out six and walked two on the afternoon. Willson Contreras knocked him for a solo home run in the first inning, with Javier Baez and Anthony Rizzo following suit in the fourth inning. Rizzo's was a two-run shot. This start marked a number of worsts for Kershaw this season, including shortest outing and most hits allowed. The four runs surrendered tied the most he has given up in a start. The ace southpaw will look to move past this when he carries his 2.37 ERA, 0.95 WHIP and 78/10 K/BB ratio (76 1/3 innings) into a road start against the Brewers next time he toes the rubber.
May 28 - 7:42 PM

Jon Lester struggled in Sunday's 9-4 loss to the Dodgers, yielding six runs on seven hits over 3 1/3 innings.

A pair of three-run home runs proved to be the culprit in this disappointing outing, as Cody Bellinger took Lester deep for a three-run shot in the second inning and Kike Hernandez did likewise in the third. He had been pitching to a brilliant 0.86 ERA in his previous three outings before the Dodgers mucked that up on Sunday. The veteran southpaw will try for cleaner results when he carries his 3.86 ERA, 1.33 WHIP and 67/23 K/BB ratio (11 starts) into a road showdown with the rival Cardinals next time out.
May 28 - 7:40 PM

Domingo Santana went 2-for-4 with a grand slam on Sunday, powering the Brewers to a 9-5 victory over the Diamondbacks.

His game-changing blow came off of Patrick Corbin in the fourth inning. He also doubled and walked in the contest and scored three runs. He looks to be coming into his own this season, slashing .270/.371/.461 with seven homers, 27 RBI and four stolen bases.
May 28 - 7:11 PM

Manny Pina went 3-for-5 with a double and an RBI as the Brewers topped the Diamondbacks on Sunday afternoon.

Pina tacked on an RBI single in the sixth inning that ran the Brewers' advantage to 8-1. He has been swinging a hot bat this season in his limited action, slashing .315/.358/.483 with a pair of home runs and 13 RBI.
