Tony Romo (back) did not participate in Thursday morning's walkthrough.

Rashad Jennings (knee) will not play in Monday's game against the Colts.

Jennings rehab from a Week 5 MCL sprain is not going as expected -- he hasn't even resumed practicing yet. We'll consider him questionable for Week 10. In the meantime, rookie Andre Williams will try to rebound from two ineffective and disappointing starts prior to the bye. Showing a lack of vision and a tendency to run to contact, Williams will only be a borderline RB2.

According to ESPN's Chris Mortensen, the Bengals are "getting [Cedric] Peerman ready as a complimentary back to Jeremy Hill."

Gio Bernard (hip) is in doubt for Sunday's game against the Jaguars. He couldn't finish last week's game and did not practice on Wednesday. The change-of-pace type Peerman has been on the fringe of Cincy's roster for the last five seasons, rushing just 54 times. The real winner if Gio sits, of course, would be rookie power back Jeremy Hill. He'd take on feature duties and would be a candidate for 20 touches.

Titans first-round OT Taylor Lewan pleaded guilty Thursday to two misdemeanors for being drunk and disorderly.

This stems from an incident with an Ohio State fan following Michigan's loss to the Buckeyes in Ann Arbor last season. He was originally charged with aggravated assault and battery. Instead, he pleaded down and is not expected to face discipline from the NFL as the incident occurred before he was in the league. Lewan has started the last three games at left tackle for the Titans, showing well.

Ben Tate suggested that a lack of running lanes is the reason for his brutal two-game stretch.

Over the last two weeks, Tate has rushed 31 times for 62 yards (2.0 YPC). He was asked if there were any holes against the Raiders last week. "Did you watch the game?" he replied. Tate now has another favorable matchup against Tampa Bay's leaky run defense this week, but is just an RB2 post-Alex Mack.

Bucs beat writer Greg Auman sees 10-plus touches for Charles Sims (ankle) Sunday.

It sounds like a lot for a rookie that has been on IR/return all season, but it speaks to the kind of role the Bucs want him to have. Doug Martin (ankle) is in a walking boot and highly questionable, possibly leaving Sims and Bobby Rainey as the top-two backs against the Browns' No. 30 run defense Sunday. "There's no doubt, when (Sims) is ready to go, he will give us a spark," coach Lovie Smith said. "I feel pretty confident in saying that."
Oct 30 - 9:47 AM

Darren Sproles (knee) appears ready to return for Sunday's game at Houston.

Sproles, who was limited in practice before sitting out Week 8, is practicing in full this week. He'll be ready for a bit role against the Texans, likely something in the neighborhood of 5-7 touches. It's not a drain on LeSean McCoy's projection at all.

Doctors do not know yet if Dennis Pitta (hip surgery) will play football again.

It's been five weeks since Pitta went under the knife to repair his second dislocated and fractured hip. "In a few months, we'll see how I'm feeling and how things are going, and we'll be able to make some determinations then," he said. Pitta, 29, signed a five-year, $32.5 million contract with $16 million guaranteed in February of this year.
