Marlon Mack played 32-of-67 snaps (48%) Week 7 against the Jaguars.

Frank Gore played just 22. With Robert Turbin out and the Colts down big, Mack handled much of the work in the second half and easily had the biggest snap share of his career. It was not all roses as the rookie dropped a couple passes, but he also went for 34 yards on a dump off, showcasing his big-play ability. Likely to see his role continue to grow, Mack needs to be rostered in all leagues.

Pro Football Talk's Mike Florio reports Teddy Bridgewater (knee, PUP) will not play Week 8 against the Browns.

The game will be held at Twickenham Stadium in England, and Florio writes the Vikings do not want to risk Bridgewater on the "notoriously slippery" soccer field. With the Vikings on bye Week 9, that means the earliest we will see Bridgewater is Week 10 against Washington, but it is not a given he will be the starter even once he is healthy enough to play. For now, Bridgewater is just a stash in deep two-quarterback leagues.

ESPN's Mike Rodak reports Bills S Jordan Poyer suffered a sprained MCL Week 7 against the Bucs.

Poyer suffered the injury as the Bucs failed to lateral their way down the field on the final play of the game. If the diagnosis is confirmed, Poyer will be sidelined for at least a couple weeks. A quality offseason addition, Poyer has played every snap on defense so far this year.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports Texans OT Chris Clark will miss one-to-two weeks with a calf injury.

Clark had been filling in at left tackle, but Duane Brown should take over there after ending his holdout on Monday. Once healthy, Clark could replace Breno Giacomini on the right side.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports Texans LT Duane Brown will not be traded.

Brown ended his holdout by reporting to the team on Monday. It is good timing for the Texans with fill-in LT Chris Clark expected to miss some time with a calf injury, although it remains to be seen if Brown will be ready to play this week. When he does get back on the field, Brown will be a big upgrade for an offense which is already trending the right way with rookie Deshaun Watson at quarterback.

Orleans Darkwa played 21-of-59 snaps (36%) Week 7 against the Seahawks.

Wayne Gallman ended up playing one more snap, although Darkwa did touch the ball five more times. Still, the snap split is disappointing after Darkwa carried the offense in the upset win over the Broncos Week 6. Darkwa will have a good matchup against the Rams following the bye, but he will not be an exciting fantasy option as part of a committee on a low-scoring offense.

Giants CB Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie played just 16-of-76 snaps Week 7 against the Seahawks.

Coming back from a one-game suspension, Rodgers-Cromartie said he expected to be limited. "I can’t complain or get mad about when I’m in or out," the corner said. "I know it’s a long football season and I know one thing about corners, we always get hurt, so I know I’m gonna get a chance to get back in there." It would make sense for the Giants to have Rodgers-Cromartie play a bigger role after the bye week.

Cardinals coach Bruce Arians said the team will "stick with" Drew Stanton as their starting quarterback.

Carson Palmer suffered a broken arm Sunday which will sideline him at least eight weeks and possibly the rest of the season. Stanton completed just 5-of-14 passes for 62 yards with zero scores in over a half of work in relief against the Rams, and he has struggled to move the ball throughout his career. Arizona should strongly consider giving Blaine Gabbert a shot.
