Browns DT Jamie Meder has a high-ankle sprain.

Meder has played only 178 snaps this season, but his loss comes the same week Emmanuel Ogbah went down for the season with a broken foot. The Browns could begin to spring some run game vulnerabilities. They'll be facing Joe Mixon and the Bengals this week.

Titans WR Harry Douglas (knee, injured reserve) has resumed practicing.

At the risk of sounding flip, we had mostly forgotten Douglas was still on the TItans. Sidelined since final cuts, Douglas could apparently be activated as soon as this week. We dearly hope he doesn't take any targets away from better players Rishard Matthews, Corey Davis and Eric Decker.

Kelvin Benjamin (knee) has avoided ligament damage, but the Bills are unsure of his Week 12 availability.

"We're still looking at the rest of it," coach Sean McDermott said Monday, whatever that means. Either way, it's the best possible news after Benjamin missed 58 minutes Sunday after taking a helmet to his left knee. If he could get cleared for this week, he would have an excellent matchup in the Chiefs. That's if Tyrod Taylor is at quarterback. If it's Nathan Peterman, Benjamin will be off the fantasy radar.

Panthers WR Damiere Byrd (broken arm) has resumed practicing, beginning his activation window from injured reserve.

He joins Greg Olsen as the Panthers' second "return" player. Byrd is not eligible to return until Week 13. Even considering the Panthers' depth issues at receiver, Byrd will be lightly targeted upon his return.

Speaking Monday, Bills coach Sean McDermott said he was "still evaluating" his Week 12 quarterback decision.

It's unclear what there is to evaluate. Tyrod Taylor should have never been benched in the first place and rookie Nathan Peterman was unspeakably bad in his place. McDermott also said he doesn't regret the decision to start Peterman, which leads us to wonder if he knows the definition of regret. If Taylor plays, he'll be firmly on the streaming radar against the Chiefs. If it's Pick Tossin' Nate, fire up the Chiefs.

Packers NT Kenny Clark suffered a sprained ankle in Sunday's loss to the Ravens.

Clark is waiting on test results to determine the severity. The second-year first-rounder has been gobbling up the run this season. He'd be a huge loss for the Aaron Rodgers-less Pack.

Colts OLB John Simon (neck) is expected to return Week 12.

Simon has been out since suffering a "stinger" in Week 7. He had three sacks in seven games before the injury. His return will be a boost for the pass rush.

Bears signed K Cairo Santos, formerly of the Chiefs.

Chicago is moving on from Connor Barth, who missed a game-tying field goal with just three seconds left in the loss to the Lions on Sunday. Santos was waived/injured by the Chiefs in September because of a groin injury, but he is apparently back to full health. Santos has connected on 84.8 percent of his career kicks through four seasons and 96.2 percent of his extra point attempts.
