ESPN Chicago admits it's uncertain whether Brandon Marshall will be back with the Bears in 2015.

The Bears just signed Marshall to a new four-year, $39 million deal last May, but the regime that handed him that extension is now gone. Marshall is still a fine player and worth the money, but there's been some question whether he'll be able to coexist in Chicago with the new staff. OC Adam Gase was the Broncos' WRs coach when Marshall wanted out of Denver. The Bears may also jettison Marshall's quarterback and good friend, Jay Cutler. Marshall carries a $9.575M cap number.

Saints DE Junior Galette's initial court date is set for February 26.

Galette was arrested on domestic violence and simple battery charges earlier this month. The woman accuses Galette and his cousin of "jumping" her at Galette's place in Kenner, Louisiana. Galette could be looking at a six-game suspension.

Bears RE Jared Allen has a $12.5 million cap number for 2015.

It's fully guaranteed, too, so the Bears would take on a $12.5 million dead money hit if they were to release Allen. The Bears are expected to switch to a 3-4 defense under new DC Vic Fangio. Allen expressed some concern about the change, but believes he'll be a pure edge rusher at outside linebacker. He did admit that, if he had his choice, Allen would prefer to be a 4-3 right end.

Seahawks FS Earl Thomas (shoulder) is practicing in full for Super Bowl XLIX.

Thomas' status was never in doubt, but this confirms he'll be ready to rock against the Patriots.

Seahawks RT Justin Britt (knee) is practicing in full for Super Bowl XLIX.

Britt sat out the NFC Championship Game, but coach Pete Carroll said it was precautionary. A second-round rookie, Britt struggled mightily during the regular season, but played every snap.

Patriots C Bryan Stork (knee) has remained limited in practice.

Most signs have pointed toward Stork being ready to go for Super Bowl XLIX, but this being the Patriots, we might not get official word until inactives are announced at roughly 5ET on Sunday. Stork's presence will be key with the Pats likely looking to get their power-run game going.

LeSean McCoy isn't open to a pay cut.

Shady has said he's open to a restructure, but a straight cut is apparently out of the question. "I know how hard it is to keep a team together, and I want to be part of this team," McCoy said. "But I don't want to take less money." Due a tall $9.75 million for 2015, Shady will count $11.95 million against the cap. McCoy is signed through 2017, so any restructure would likely involve kicking some guaranteed money to 2016. Only $1 million of Shady's 2015 salary is guaranteed, but the Eagles would have to take on $4.4 million in dead money to cut him loose.

The Arizona Republic reports the Cardinals were interested in ex-Falcons coach Mike Smith as a senior defensive assistant, but that it "didn't work out."

The Cardinals are determined to promote from within to replace Todd Bowles, and Smith must have balked at being a mere defensive caretaker after running the entire show in Atlanta for seven years. If Smith is going to get a big-time job this offseason, his last shot appears to be Oakland's DC vacancy.
