Coach Todd Bowles said DE Muhammad Wilkerson (questionable, ankle) will be a game-time decision.
Wilkerson was held out of Friday's practice, but it sounds like the Jets were managing his reps. His Week 7 status will come down to how he feels in pre-game warmups. Wilkerson could play fewer snaps if active.
Travis Benjamin (questionable, knee) is expected to play Sunday against Atlanta.
The Chargers are "not concerned" with Benjamin's Week 7 status. Benjamin might not be fully healthy, but he's going to start and should lead San Diego in targets this week. We like Benjamin as a matchup-play WR3 in a projected shootout.
Jets placed ILB Erin Henderson (illness) on the NFI list.
It's a surprise after Henderson wasn't listed on the injury report all week. Henderson will miss at least eight games on NFI, making Week 15 his earliest return. With Darron Lee (ankle) out, Bruce Carter will start next to David Harris.
49ers promoted RB DuJuan Harris from the practice squad.
Harris gives the 49ers another back behind Mike Davis and Shaun Draughn with Carlos Hyde (shoulder) sidelined. San Francisco waived DL Taylor Hart in a corresponding move.
Chargers waived DB Pierre Desir.
Desir appeared in 5-of-6 games with San Diego after getting claimed before Week 1. His release is a bad sign with the Chargers down Jason Verrett (knee, IR) and Brandon Flowers (concussion, out). Practice squad OLB Chris Landrum replaced Desir on the active roster.
Washington DC Joe Barry praised rookie nickle CB Kendall Fuller's strong play since being activated in Week 4.
"He already really gets it and that’s why I talk about his awareness, his savviness, his instincts, whatever you want to call it. He has that and it’s really neat," said Barry of the rookie. Fuller, a third round draft pick, took over nickel duties when Dashaun Phillips suffered a hamstring injury in Week 3. Since Fuller took over, Washington has allowed just 183.3 passing yards per game in three victories. The Redskins D/ST is a mid-tier fantasy option in Week 7 at Detroit, but is trending up.
Tampa Bay starting DT Clint McDonald (hamstring) will miss Week 7 when the Bucs take on the San Francisco 49ers.
Akeem Spence will start in place of McDonald, who last played in Week 4 and was unable to get healthy during Tampa Bay's Week 6 bye. The Bucs have been strong against opposing passing games recently in three-straight soft matchups and draw another underwhelming quarterback this week in San Francisco's Colin Kaepernick. The Bucs D/ST is worth a look as a streaming option in Week 7.
Jaguars LT Kelvin Beachum (knee) is questionable for Week 7.
Jacksonville managed Beachum's reps this week, but he's fully expected to start against Oakland. Beachum is PFF's No. 31 tackle through five games.
