Travis Kelce caught his only target for one yard Sunday in the Chiefs’ Week 3 win over the Chargers.

Coming off a 103-yard effort in Week 2, Kelce was scarcely used in this one as the Chiefs rode impressive rookie Kareem Hunt to yet another victory. Perhaps Kelce can make it up to fantasy owners next week against the Eagles.

Alex Smith completed 16-of-21 passes for 155 yards with two touchdowns and rushed twice for nine yards Sunday in the Chiefs’ Week 3 win over the Chargers.

Smith pulled all the right strings on Sunday. He didn’t throw an incompletion until the third quarter and seemed to be in perfect sync with talented second-year receiver Tyreek Hill (five catches for 77 yards and a touchdown). Smith did face pressure from a swarming Chargers pass rush, taking five sacks for a loss of 33 yards including three by Melvin Ingram. He probably could have done more damage through the air but didn’t really need to with Kareem Hunt pacing the offense with another monster game on the ground (172 rushing yards). The Chiefs will try to improve to 4-0 next week against the Redskins.

Kareem Hunt cruised to 172 yards and a touchdown on 17 carries while adding one catch for 11 yards Sunday in the Chiefs’ Week 3 win over the Chargers.

Another week, another stellar performance by Hunt, who has gone over 100 yards from scrimmage in all three games this year. He’s the first rookie to begin his career with three straight 100-yard games since Matt Forte did the same thing back in 2008. The Chargers had no answer for Hunt, who spent the afternoon breaking off chunk gains with little to no resistance. He saved his best for last, icing the game with a masterful 61-yard touchdown dash in the fourth quarter. Through three weeks, Hunt has averaged an absurd 8.53 yards per carry with six touchdowns. He’s also on pace for 2,138 rushing yards, which would break Eric Dickerson’s single-season record set in 1983. And to think that if Spencer Ware hadn’t torn his PCL, Hunt could be buried on the bench right now. The Toledo product will look to continue his incredible run next week on Monday Night Football against the Redskins.

Tyler Kroft caught 3-of-4 targets for 28 yards in the Bengals' Week 3 loss to the Packers.

Kroft was the No. 1 tight end with Tyler Eifert (back, knee) out. Even if Eifert continues to miss time, Kroft won't be a fantasy starter against the Browns.

Luke Willson caught 3-of-4 targets for 53 yards and a touchdown in the Seahawks' Week 3 loss to the Titans.

The Seahawks' No. 2 tight end is sitting on a 6/78/1 line through three games. He will have TE2 appeal if Jimmy Graham misses any time this season.
Sep 24 - 8:20 PM

Brandon LaFell caught 1-of-2 targets for five yards in the Bengals' Week 3 loss to the Packers.

He wasn't even targeted in the first half. Even with Tyler Eifert and John Ross out, LaFell was nowhere to be found. New OC Bill Lazor was making it a point to get the ball in A.J. Green and Joe Mixon's hands.
Sep 24 - 8:20 PM

Tyler Boyd caught his lone target for 11 yards in the Bengals' Week 3 loss to the Packers.

Boyd was a healthy scratch last week but was back in there Sunday. He still didn't see much work and isn't a big part of the offense. Under new OC Bill Lazor, the ball is going to A.J. Green or Joe Mixon.
Sep 24 - 8:19 PM

Titans TE Jonnu Smith caught 1-of-2 targets for 24 yards in Tennessee's Week 3 win over the Seahawks.

The third-round rookie now has scores in back-to-back games, but just three total catches. The arrow is pointing upward in Dynasty leagues.
