Raiders OLB Aldon Smith's next court date is November 4.

Free agent RB Bryce Brown worked out for the Colts on Tuesday.
The Horseshoe also hosted Ahmad Bradshaw. The Colts have very little depth behind Frank Gore, and could end up making a signing.
Free agent RB Travaris Cadet worked out for the Jets on Tuesday.
The Jets are likely just updating their emergency list during their bye week. Cadet was waived by the Patriots last week.
Saints released WR Joe Morgan.
The fifth-year deep threat had been active only one time this season. Now 27, Morgan is running out of time in the league.
Bears promoted OT Nick Becton from the practice squad.
He'll provide offensive line depth after C Will Montgomery (broken leg) was sent to injured reserve.
Bears waived P Spencer Lanning and LB John Timu.
With Pat O'Donnell (knee) back to full health, Lanning was no longer needed.
Nate Washington (hamstring) remained sidelined Tuesday.
Washington is looking quite doubtful for Thursday's game against the Colts. With Cecil Shorts (shoulder) expected to sit, rookie Jaelen Strong will be forced into a role behind DeAndre Hopkins. Keith Mumphery and Chandler Worthy have been active ahead of Strong up until this point.
Cecil Shorts (shoulder) remained sidelined Tuesday.
With Nate Washington (hamstring) also sidelined, Houston could be majorly shorthanded at wideout against the Colts on Thursday. Rookie Keith Mumphery is the next man up, but is well off the fantasy radar with Ryan Mallett at quarterback.
