Bucs activated Charles Sims (knee) off injured reserve.

Coach Dirk Koetter created some worry Saturday morning when he said Sims would be activated "sooner than later," but Sims will return this week as expected. With the Bucs hurting at receiver, he could have a big role in the passing game. Despite coming out of a long injury layoff, Sims has some RB3 appeal even in standard leagues. Tampa Bay also promoted WR Donteea Dye off the practice squad while waiving OL Josh Allen and DT John Hughes.

ESPN Steelers reporter Jeremy Fowler believes 30-40 snaps is Ladarius Green's "range because of the Steelers’ run-heavy sets."

Green saw his snap share jump to 48 percent last week against the Giants, but that might be his ceiling if Fowler is correct. The good news is Green runs a route on almost all of his snaps, giving him plenty of target opportunities despite the limited snap percentage. With a pretty favorable schedule down the stretch, Green should be a solid TE1 the rest of the way.

Cleveland has allowed 100 or more rushing yards in seven consecutive games.

The Browns have coughed up more than 100 yards on the ground in 10 of 12 games this season, and own the NFL's second-worst run defense. Opponents are breaking off 4.5 yards per carry against Cleveland, who will host Cincinnati in Week 14 in likely snowy conditions. The Browns D/ST has produced just one top-10 fantasy performance in 2016 and will not be on the fantasy radar against Cincinnati.
Dec 10 - 12:08 PM

The Arizona defense has allowed just 10 touchdown passes in 2016 while not allowing a single 300-yard passing performance.

"It shows the guys we have in the secondary and the faith the D-coordinator has in the secondary to continue to dial up pressure and leave us out on an island," said CB Patrick Peterson. Tyrann Mathieu (shoulder) has been ruled out for Week 14 and is reportedly contemplating surgery, so Tyvon Branch should see additional work when Arizona takes on Miami. The Cardinals D/ST is a borderline top-12 fantasy option on the road against the Dolphins in Week 14.

Ravens LG Alex Lewis (ankle) is practicing again Saturday.

Lewis was limited Friday and likely will be again Saturday, but the two practices confirm he is well ahead of the initial six-week timetable. Lewis still seems unlikely to play Monday night, but he could be back Week 15.
Dec 10 - 11:59 AM

Bucs signed WR Donteea Dye from their practice squad.

Dye is needed with Cecil Shorts (knee) out for the season and Adam Humphries sidelined this week by a concussion. Dye is unlikely to have a big role, but he did post four catches in Week 17 last season.
Dec 10 - 11:57 AM

Luke Kuechly (concussion) has been ruled out for Week 14 against the Chargers.

It is a surprise after Kuechly got in a full practice Friday, but it appears as if he did not pass the final test with an independent neurologist. He remains week to week. S Kurt Coleman and CB Daryl Worley were able to clear the protocol and will play against the Chargers.
Dec 10 - 11:42 AM

Justin Forsett said 99 percent of the Broncos' offense is the same as the system he ran under Gary Kubiak in Baltimore.

"You gotta be patient with decisive decision-making," Forsett said. "I love it because it gives you a lot of options and freedom that some of the other schemes don’t allow you to have." The familiarity should allow Forsett to take on a big role right out of the gate, with Kubiak expecting him to "split" work with Devontae Booker this week against the Titans. Forsett cannot be trusted in the starting lineup in his first game with Denver, but he needs to be added in all leagues.
