NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports coach Chuck Pagano's job is "believed to be safe."

Owner Jim Irsay made a run at Jon Gruden and has been looking at other coaches for weeks. The Colts fired GM Ryan Grigson but it sounds like Pagano will get another year. Pagano has been on the hot seat the last two seasons and is entering a make-or-break 2017. The Colts haven't made the playoffs since 2014.

Colts fired GM Ryan Grigson.

Grigson's status had been up in the air since the end of the season. The Colts are finally moving on after years of draft and free agency misses. Grigson's clashes with coach Chuck Pagano had also become a distraction over the last two-plus seasons. It's an overdue move from the Colts, who have missed the playoffs in two straight years. President of Football Operations Jimmy Raye is a candidate to replace Grigson if Indy stays in-house. Owner Jim Irsay has also been pushing Peyton Manning for a front office role.

Packers CB Quinten Rollins (neck, concussion) is questionable for Sunday's NFC Championship Game.

Rollins missed the last two weeks after going down in the season finale. He's been practicing on a limited basis but still needs to pass the final stage of the concussion protocol. Rollins isn't much of an upgrade to Green Bay's secondary. He'll get the majority of left corner snaps if cleared.

Steelers OLB James Harrison (shoulder, triceps) is questionable for Sunday's AFC Championship Game.

Harrison is fully expected to play despite some missed practice time this week. He's been a standout this postseason with 2.5 sacks. Harrison should see his regular snaps.

Packers added Christine Michael to the injury report as questionable with a back injury.

The timing suggests he suffered the injury late in the week. Michael did not touch the ball in limited snaps last week against Dallas, but his absence would still be a blow to an already banged-up offense. Ty Montgomery should dominate the backfield touches against the Falcons.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports the 49ers would go "hard" after Kirk Cousins if he is available.

Even if the Redskins hit Cousins with another franchise tag, Schefter reports the 49ers may be willing to part with a trade package that includes the No. 2 overall pick to land the quarterback. With former offensive coordinator Kyle Shanahan almost certain to take over as head coach, Cousins would likely be open to a move to San Francisco. There is little doubt Washington will place the exclusive franchise tag on Cousins if the two sides cannot work out a long-term deal, but even that might not be the end of the saga.

ESPN's Chris Mortensen reports Chip Kelly will meet with Bill Belichick after missing out on the Jaguars' offensive coordinator job.

Kelly was believed to be a strong candidate for the coordinator job in Jacksonville, but coach Doug Marrone decided to stick with long-time ally Nathanial Hackett. That leaves Kelly without a job, but Mortensen thinks New England is a "logical landing spot." Kelly and Belichick have a long-standing football relationship which goes back to Kelly's time at Oregon. It would not be surprising to see him land there.

Impending free agent Cordarrelle Patterson said he felt wanted by the Vikings this season.

Patterson said he "didn't feel wanted" by Minnesota during Mike Zimmer's first two years in charge and was focused on "trying to get out." Patterson had a change of heart this season, likely in no small part because he actually had a role on offense, and now wants to stay. Price will likely determine if the Vikings feel the same way, but they should be interested in keeping around a guy who has led the league in kick return average three of the last four seasons.
