Kyle Schwarber is not in Monday's lineup against the Giants.

He'll take a seat against left-hander Ty Blach. Rookie Ian Happ is also out of the lineup. Ben Zobrist will start in left field and bat leadoff while Albert Almora, Jr. gets a start in center.

Orioles recalled RHP Tyler Wilson from Triple-A Norfolk.

He'll replace Miguel Castro on the active roster. Wilson owns a 4.91 ERA and 5/3 K/BB ratio over 11 innings with the Orioles this season and will operate in middle relief.

Manny Machado (hand) is in Monday's lineup against the Twins.

Machado was hit in the left hand by a pitch on Sunday, but he never had to leave the game. The Orioles sent him for X-rays just to be on the safe side, but it appears that there's no reason for concern.

Astros recalled RHP Jordan Jankowski from Triple-A Fresno.

Jankowski, 28, has complied a 1.42 ERA with four saves and a 22/9 K/BB ratio over 19 innings in Triple-A this season. He'll be making his major league debut when he gets into a game.

Hector Sanchez (foot) has experienced a setback during his minor league rehab assignment with Triple-A El Paso.

Sanchez, who went down with a foot contusion earlier this month, began a rehab assignment on Friday and went 2-for-9 with two walks over the weekend. No word on the severity of the setback or when he'll be able to return to action.

Cubs prospect Victor Caratini went 2-for-4 with a homer on Sunday for Triple-A Iowa.

It was the fourth homer of the year for the switch-hitting catcher. Caratini has been excellent in 2017, showing the plus hit tool he showed at times as an amateur, and also putting more balls into the gap/over the fence this year. Where he's going to play is anyone's guess, but this is another quality offensive prospect for the Cubs. He could be an excellent piece to add in a trade this summer.
