Andre Johnson caught five passes for 77 yards in the Texans' Week 7 loss to the Steelers on Monday night.

Johnson and DeAndre Hopkins each saw a team-high nine targets. There was nothing special about Johnson's night. His biggest play was a 24-yard grab on a deep in route in front of the safeties. Johnson has just one touchdown on the season. He could have had another on Monday if Ryan Fitzpatrick would have hit him in stride on a corner route in the end zone. But Fitzpatrick overshot Johnson, who had a step on the defensive back. Johnson remains a WR2 thanks to volume. He and the Texans travel to Tennessee in Week 8.

Antonio Brown caught nine passes for 90 yards in the Steelers' Week 7 win over the Texans.

Brown saw a game-high 13 targets. Ho hum. Just another day at the office. But Brown also threw a three-yard touchdown on a fake WR sweep-turned-reverse when he hit Lance Moore in the end zone. Brown later had a 16-yard touchdown grab of his own called back after it was deemed he didn't get a second foot in bounds. A top-tier WR1, especially in PPR, Browns gets the Colts next.

DeAndre Hopkins caught six passes for 108 yards in the Texans' Week 7 loss to the Steelers on Monday night.

Hopkins and Andre Johnson each saw a team-high nine targets. Ryan Fitzpatrick threw it to whichever receiver was working against embattled Steelers CB Cortez Allen. Hopkins' biggest play of the night was a 32-yard catch in the fourth quarter, but he ended up losing a fumble on the play, crushing the Texans' hopes of a comeback. Hopkins is more of a boom-or-bust WR3 than WR2. He'll have a plus matchup on the road against the Titans in Week 8.

LeGarrette Blount rushed for nine yards on seven carries in the Steelers' Week 7 win over the Texans.

Blount added one catch for eight yards. He mixed in to handle some change-of-pace carries when Le'Veon Bell split out wide or needed a breather. Blount continues to see a handful of weekly carries, but even that's too much.
Oct 21 - 12:12 AM

Alfred Blue rushed for 14 yards on five carries and caught an 11-yard touchdown in the Texans' Week 7 loss to the Steelers.

Blue was the vulture on the opening-drive 11-yard score after Arian Foster managed 59 rushing yards to get the Texans near the goal line. Foster is an every-down back, leaving just a handful of touches for Blue weekly, but Blue is one of the top handcuffs to own thanks to Foster's recent injury history.

Ben Roethlisberger completed 23-of-33 passes for 265 yards, two touchdowns, and zero interceptions in the Steelers' Week 7 win over the Texans on Monday night.

Roethlisberger absorbed three sacks and lost his right tackle and left tackle for stretches in this one. The offense got off to a really slow start, being held scoreless until there was 3:08 left in the first half. That's when Big Ben hooked up with rookie WR Martavis Bryant for a 35-yard touchdown over the top of the defense. The flood gates opened for Pittsburgh. Antonio Brown found Lance Moore for a three-yard touchdown 1:41 later, and Ben then found Le'Veon Bell for a two-yard score just 49 seconds after that. Roethlisberger hooked up with Brown nine times for 90 yards and had a 16-yard score called back when Brown couldn't get a second foot in bounds. Ben will be a mid-range QB2 vs. the Colts next week.

Ryan Fitzpatrick completed 21-of-32 passes for 262 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception in the Texans' Week 7 loss to the Steelers on Monday night.

Fitzpatrick played well for much of the first half, leading the Texans on three consecutive scoring drives to open the game. It was a train wreck thereafter. One play after the Steelers had just scored a three-yard touchdown on an Arian Foster fumble at the goal line, Fitzpatrick comes back and tosses an interception at his own 20-yard line with 53 seconds left in the first half. The Steelers scored another TD and totaled 24 points in 2:54 before the break after trailing 13-0 with 3:08 left in the half. The Texans struggled on third downs passing the ball all night. Fitz's TDs went to Alfred Blue and Foster. He's a back-end QB2.
Oct 20 - 11:56 PM

Arian Foster rushed for 102 yards on 20 carries in the Texans' 30-23, Week 7 loss to the Steelers on Monday night, adding four catches for 13 yards and one touchdown.

Foster got off to a blazing start, rushing for 59 yards on the Texans' 94-yard opening touchdown drive, but was vultured by Alfred Blue for the 11-yard touchdown catch to cap it off. The wheels then fell off the Texans later in the half, and they never recovered. Foster was part of the problem, as he lost a fumble at his own three-yard line, setting up Le'Veon Bell's easy TD. Foster gave fantasy owners a scare on the third series of the game when he appeared to twist his knee while getting bent backward on a tackle. He shook it off and remained in the game. His score came from one yard out late in the fourth quarter. A locked-in RB1 any week he plays, Foster gets a date with the Titans in Week 8.
