Greg Olsen (back) has resumed practicing at Panthers camp.

The Panthers have taken it easy on Olsen, holding him out of their regular season dress rehearsal. He also missed some practice time with back spasms. Olsen's back might limit his practice participation early in the season, but he's in no danger of missing games. He remains a top-three fantasy tight end.

Falcons rookie WR Devin Fuller may need shoulder surgery.

A second opinion will determine whether he goes under the knife, which suggests the first opinion was that Fuller indeed needs surgery. A seventh-round pick out of UCLA, Fuller was fighting for the Falcons' No. 5 receiver spot.

Stefon Diggs got 5-of-5 targets for 71 yards in Sunday's preseason game.

Diggs finishes the preseason with seven grabs for 82 yards. Moving all over the formation this summer, Diggs enters Week 1 as the Vikings' clear-cut No. 1 receiver. Diggs is a born playmaker, but still figures to be inconsistent in the Vikings' run-first offense. He's a WR4.

The Dolphins are expected to start second-round CB Xavien Howard in Week 1 against the Seahawks.

Howard missed over three weeks of training camp following an offseason knee scope and hasn't played at all in preseason. He is expected to play in the exhibition finale. While Howard is supremely raw with next to no time in DC Vance Joseph's system, he can't possibly be worse than overmatched Tony Lippett. Russell Wilson, Doug Baldwin & Co. should still be licking their chops.

John Brown is sitting out Sunday's regular season dress rehearsal.

The Cardinals have zero reason to risk Brown's health after he spent much of the month battling concussion issues. It's a concern for the regular season, but Brown will be out there Week 1. He provides a ton of upside as a WR3.
Aug 28 - 3:38 PM

Dolphins rookie RB Kenyan Drake will play in the preseason finale.

It'll be Drake's first exhibition-game action. Drake has been plagued by hamstring injuries since OTAs and dating back to Alabama, but is finally healthy and was reportedly making some plays in the passing game at Sunday's practice. As a third-round pick, Drake's roster spot should be assured.
Aug 28 - 3:35 PM

Dolphins RB Isaiah Pead (hamstring) will miss "at least" two weeks.

Pead's star-crossed career continues. Coming on strong at Dolphins training camp, Pead earned first-team snaps behind Arian Foster and Jay Ajayi in the regular season dress rehearsal before going down. With final cuts on the horizon, Pead couldn't have suffered this injury at a worse time.
Aug 28 - 3:33 PM

The Chargers rested Antonio Gates in their third preseason game.

Gates is fine, but the Bolts wanted to get second-round pick Hunter Henry more work with the ones. One of the top value picks among tight ends this year, Gates enters 2016 with a lofty touchdown projection in one of the NFL's better passing games. He's a no-brainer pick in the ninth and tenth rounds.
