The Baltimore Sun reports Dennis Pitta had his dislocated hip "popped back in" after being sedated on Sunday evening, and will likely undergo surgery.

Underscoring the severity of the situation, Pitta has remained in Cleveland. There hasn't been official word, but Pitta is almost certainly done for the season, leaving Owen Daniels as the Ravens' starting tight end. If you're already in a bye-week crunch, Pitta can be safely dropped.

The 49ers are "optimistic" Vernon Davis (ankle) will return for Week 4.

Coach Jim Harbaugh said so at Monday's presser. With Davis and Vance McDonald sidelined for Sunday's loss to the Cardinals, the 49ers increased No. 3 receiver Stevie Johnson's role on offense. Davis would be a mid-range TE1 for a likely shootout with the Eagles.
Sep 22 - 3:17 PM

Bucs DT Gerald McCoy (broken hand) participated in Monday's practice.

McCoy is fully expected to return for Week 4 after sitting out last week's debacle. His status will be updated later this week.

ESPN's Adam Schefter stated on NFL Insiders Monday that the "early sense" is T.Y. Hilton (ankle) will be available for Week 4 against Tennessee.

Coach Chuck Pagano said earlier Monday he didn't think Hilton's ankle injury was "too severe," despite the fact that it cost him the entire second half of Sunday's win over Jacksonville. Of course, the Colts may have simply been playing it safe with Hilton because they were demolishing the Jaguars. Through three games this season, Hilton has 16 catches for 186 yards without a touchdown.

Josh McCown (sprained thumb) didn't participate in Monday's practice.

We won't get a real idea of McCown's Week 4 status until the Bucs issue their first injury report on Wednesday, but all signs point toward Mike Glennon starting against the Steelers. It should be an upgrade for a Bucs offense McCown has looked very sluggish leading.

NFL.com's Kimberly Jones reports Odell Beckham (hamstring) will not make his NFL debut in Week 4.

CBS had reported that Beckham was "fully expected" to debut on Thursday Night Football against the Redskins. Instead, he'll rest up another 10 days for Week 5. Beckham remains off the radar in 12-14 team leagues.

Roddy White (hamstring) was held out of Monday's practice.

It was just an informal session the the Falcons coming off the Thursday night game, but it would have been nice to see White get some reps. White has said he expects to return for Week 4, but his Wednesday practice status will be telling. He needs to get in at least a limited session.
Sep 22 - 2:44 PM

Falcons RB Antone Smith was held out of Monday's practice with a hamstring injury.

It was just an informal session with the Falcons coming off Thursday Night Football. Smith wasn't announced with an injury against the Bucs. He should be considered day to day, and likely to serve in his reserve change-of-pace role for Week 4.
