Darren Sproles rushed two times for 20 yards and caught three passes for 30 yards in Sunday's Week 3 win over the Redskins.

Sep 21 - 5:01 PM

Marques Colston caught 2-of-5 targets for 25 yards and a touchdown in the Saints' Week 3 win over the Vikings.

Sep 21 - 5:01 PM

Trent Richardson gained 57 yards on 14 carries and caught 3-of-4 targets for 23 yards in the Colts' Week 3 win over the Jaguars.

Most frustrating for those owners still starting T-Rich were back-to-back goal-line stuffs in the second half. The Colts promptly inserted Ahmad Bradshaw on third down, and Andrew Luck tossed a touchdown pass to Hakeem Nicks. Losing significant red-zone action to Bradshaw and still averaging under 4.0 YPC, Richardson is a weak RB2/flex in fantasy. The Colts host the Titans next.
Sep 21 - 5:00 PM

Jordy Nelson caught 5-of-7 targets for 59 yards in the Packers' Week 3 loss to the Lions.

There wasn't much yardage to be had on a day where Aaron Rodgers had little time to throw, and was held to just 27 attempts. It's just a temporary setback for the elite WR1. There's going to be a lot more points when the Pack head to Soldier Field in Week 4.
Sep 21 - 4:58 PM

Hakeem Nicks caught 4-of-4 targets for 50 yards and a touchdown in the Colts' Week 3 win over the Jaguars.

After not scoring once in 15 games with the Giants last year, Nicks has two TDs through three games with the Colts. He has turned in yardage lines of 36, -4, and 50, however. Nicks' fantasy outlook would improve if T.Y. Hilton (ankle) missed extended action, with rookie Donte Moncrief entering in three-receiver sets. Keep an eye on Hilton's injury status during the forthcoming week.

Shane Vereen had seven carries for 20 yards in Sunday's win over the Raiders.

He added four catches for 17 yards. Vereen saw fewer touches than Stevan Ridley, and was a non-factor in the pass game. He split red-zone with Ridley, but failed to convert on his goal-line carry. Vereen has just 148 total yards through three weeks. He'll remain a game-flow dependent RB3 in Week 4.
Sep 21 - 4:56 PM

E.J. Manuel completed 23-of-39 passes for 238 yards and a touchdown against the Chargers Week 3.

Manuel added 24 yards on the ground. The stat line does not look terrible, but it was inflated by 81 yards on a meaningless final drive. Manuel was his normal inaccurate self against the Chargers, and made several mental mistakes, including an intentional ground penalty in the end zone that cost the Bills a safety. The Bills want to keep Manuel in a game-manager role, but his legs will keep him an interesting QB2 in deeper formats.
Sep 21 - 4:56 PM

LeSean McCoy rushed 20 times for 22 yards and caught one pass for zero yards in Sunday's Week 3 win over the Redskins.

McCoy left briefly early on to be checked for a concussion, but that wasn't the issue here. An Eagles offensive line that was the best in the league last year is currently operating at a bottom-five level thanks to injuries and suspensions. They had no prayer against a speedy Redskins front that we need to start taking very seriously against the run. The only shred of good news is that McCoy rushed 20 times compared to two for Darren Sproles, squashing any silly RBBC concerns. McCoy is a good bet to bounce back despite a tough matchup at San Francisco in Week 4.
