Sammy Watkins (ribs) is inactive for Saturday's preseason game against the Bucs.

Watkins returned to practice on a limited basis this week, but the Bills don't want to risk him to further injury. It's not ideal for him to be missing time in the Bills' regular season dress rehearsal. TE Tony Moeaki is also inactive and has appeared in just one preseason game.

Giants coach Tom Coughlin said undrafted WR Corey Washington has played in "superb fashion" and that "certainly gets your attention."

Washington has put together a strong preseason with Ryan Nassib and the second team, and has a touchdown in four straight games. He should be a lock for a roster spot. Washington could push for snaps in red-zone and four-wide packages.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports that tests have confirmed NT B.J. Raji (torn biceps) is out for the season.

The Packers were hoping to place Raji on short-term I.R. for a possible a late-season impact. Although he hasn't been a productive player in years, his loss is a blow to Green Bay's defensive line. Raji will end up playing zero regular season snaps after re-signing to a one-year, $4 million deal. Josh Boyd and Letroy Guion are in-house candidates to replace Raji. Free agents Ryan Pickett and Johnny Jolly are likely available for the veteran minimum and could be brought back.

Rookie Weston Richburg is expected to open the season as the Giants' starting left guard.

Richburg started over Brandon Mosley at right guard in Friday's preseason game, but will switch over to the left side with Geoff Schwartz sidelined, with Mosley moving back in the starting lineup. Richburg lacks experience but is a serviceable replacement for Schwartz. Mosley and C J.D. Walton have been liabilities.

Marcus Harris (shoulder) is expected to miss 3-4 weeks.

Harris is dealing with an issue in his AC joint. He was in the mix for the No. 5 receiver job prior to going down. The Giants will likely need to cut Preston Parker, Julian Talley, and KR Trindon Holliday to keep a roster spot for Harris, who was having a strong camp. Harris had nine catches for 93 yards in four preseason games.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports Giants LG Geoff Schwartz is consulting with a foot specialist following an MRI on his dislocated toe.

Rapoport said, "It does not sound good." Depending on the where the toe is dislocated, Schwartz could miss anywhere from a few weeks to the entire season. Rapoport's comments indicate it is closer to the latter. The injury is a huge blow to the Giants' already shaky offensive line. Rookie Weston Richburg should slot in at left guard with Schwartz sidelined.

Broncos SLB Von Miller (knee) is expected to make his preseason debut against the Texans Saturday.

Miller has been sidelined since tearing his ACL on December 22. He avoided the PUP list at the start of camp, and has been practicing full speed for the last week. He should be good to go Week 1.

The Denver Post's Mike Klis reports Montee Ball (appendectomy) will make his preseason debut against the Texans Saturday.

Ball was cleared for full participation in practice Monday, and returned to 11-on-11 drills during Thursday's practice. He was not expected to make his debut until the fourth preseason game, but recovered faster than anticipated. It's great news for fantasy drafters. We wouldn't expect Ball to handle more than a few carries, but his activity is confirmation Ball has fully recovered. He projects as the clear feature back in Denver's juggernaut attack.
