Paul Perkins (ribs) is out for Week 7 against the Seahawks.

Oct 20 - 11:06 AM

Sterling Shepard (ankle) is questionable for Week 7 against the Seahawks.

Shepard got in a round of limited practices this week after missing Week 6 following a twisted ankle the previous game. He should be back in the lineup and compete with Evan Engram for the team lead in targets the rest of the way. Shepard is likely to move all over the formation for the Giants.

Bears WR Tanner Gentry played 76-of-80 offensive snaps against the Ravens in Week 6.

Freshly elevated off the practice squad, Gentry caught 2-of-3 targets for 27 yards in the start. The Bears threw the ball just 16 times in the overtime win, pounding the rock with Jordan Howard, but they'll be forced to throw more in the coming weeks. Gentry is worth looking at in 14-team leagues after a strong summer. Gentry and Tre McBride are the Bears' outside receivers.

Kendall Wright played just 25-of-80 offensive snaps Week 6 against the Ravens.

Wright is easily the Bears' best receiver, but OC Dowell Loggains isn't using him in base one- or two-receivers sets. He's only playing in the slot. On a team that prefers to pound the ball on the ground in two-tight end sets and drain the clock, Wright can safely be dropped in 12-team fantasy leagues.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports Saints DE Hau'oli Kikaha is a name to "keep an eye on" as we close in on the trade deadline.

A 2015 second-round pick, Kikaha recorded four sacks as a rookie but suffered a torn ACL in his left knee for the third time and missed all of 2016. He has played 82 rotational snaps this season and has two sacks to show for it. Kikaha could bring back a late-round pick for a pass rush-needy team, but wouldn't fetch more than that. NESN's Doug Kyed mentions the Patriots as a possibility.

Former Seahawks CB Brandon Browner was arrested for cocaine possession in California back on May 25.

He's been arrested twice in the past five months, first on the cocaine charge and then last month on felony charges of making criminal threats to a woman. Now 33 and running amok out in L.A., Browner's career is over.

Coach Bruce Arians intimated Tramon Williams will be starting ahead of CB Justin Bethel for Week 7 against the Rams.

It has been looking like this was going to be the course of action all week. Per Arians, Williams is "in a bunch of packages, and he’ll be playing a bunch." Bethel has been getting flamed in coverage all year, allowing six touchdowns, two more than any other corner charted by Pro Football Focus, and is the site's No. 99 cover corner out of 108 qualifiers. Williams is 34 and coming off a horrific 2016 with the Browns, when he graded out as PFF's No. 102 cover man out of 120 corners. It's still a matchup to exploit. Williams should see a lot of Robert Woods on Sunday.

Coach Bruce Arians said CB Patrick Peterson (quad) has looked "fine" and will play Week 7 against the Rams.

Peterson had to be pulled from Week 6 against the Bucs and was limited in practice this week. However, he's ready to roll for his date with Sammy Watkins, who has been a complete non-factor since his big game against the 49ers a few Thursdays ago. Watkins will remain that way in Peterson's shadow coverage. Robert Woods and Cooper Kupp have better matchups.
