Vikings declared TE Kyle Rudolph, S Ahmad Dixon, CB Shaun Prater, FB Zach Line, LB Anthony Barr, OT Carter Bykowski, and G Charlie Johnson inactive for Week 16 against the Dolphins.

Chase Ford will replace Rudolph as Minnesota's pass-catching tight end.
Dec 21 - 11:34 AM

Lions declared DT Nick Fairley (knee) inactive for Sunday's Week 16 game at Chicago.

Dec 21 - 11:33 AM

Bucs FS Dashon Goldson (shin) is active for Week 16 against the Packers.

Goldson was limited in practice this week, but will play despite being listed as questionable. The Bucs inactives are WR Robert Herron, WR Solomon Patton, RB Mike James, CB Isaiah Frey, OT Anthony Collins, DL Lawrence Sidbury, and TE/FB Evan Rodriguez.
Dec 21 - 11:32 AM

Shane Vereen (ankle) is officially active for Week 16 against the Jets.

As previously reported, neither Julian Edelman (concussion) nor LeGarrette Blount made the trip to New York. With Edelman sidelined, both Vereen and Danny Amendola will have bigger roles as pass catchers. The Boston Globe went as far as to suggest that Vereen will "pick up (Edelman's) slack." Also inactive for the Patriots are RB James White, CB Alfonzo Dennard, OG Dan Connolly, OT Jordan Devey and CB Kyle Arrington.
Dec 21 - 11:32 AM

Dwayne Bowe (illness) is active for Week 16 against the Steelers.

He'll be a borderline WR4 in a dream matchup with the Steelers' shaky secondary.
Dec 21 - 11:30 AM

Cam Newton is active for Week 16 against the Browns.

He's officially starting and gets a matchup boost with Joe Haden (shoulder) on the Browns' inactive list.
Dec 21 - 11:28 AM

Chiefs declared WR Donnie Avery, QB Aaron Murray, CB Marcus Cooper, RB Charcandrick West, OL Eric Kush, OL Larry Duvernay-Tardif and DL Nick Williams inactive for Week 16 against the Steelers.

Avery wasn't listed on the injury report, so he's a healthy scratch. Dwayne Bowe (illness) is good to go against the Steelers' bottom-five secondary. With Avery banished to the bench, we'd expect a bigger role for Albert Wilson.
Dec 21 - 11:27 AM

Julio Jones (strained oblique) is officially active for Week 16 against the Saints.

The Falcons reportedly saw enough from Jones in a pre-game workout to make him active despite Jones missing every practice this week. Jones could be limited by his oblique injury, but the buzz around Falcons' camp has always been he would be more than a decoy if active. He is a risky play during championship week, but his upside makes him a mid-range WR2 even with the risk.
