Vikings FS Harrison Smith (ankle) was spotted on crutches and in a walking boot following Thursday's loss to the Cowboys.
Smith said he didn't have much feeling in his left leg, but it's hard to say how serious the injury might be, as Pro Football Focus charted him playing 51-of-52 snaps. Smith has been dealing with an ankle issue. Tonight he got badly burned by Dez Bryant on a 56-yard catch. Smith has 10 days to heal up for Week 14.
Laquon Treadwell was held without a catch on two targets in the Vikings' Week 13 loss to the Cowboys.
One of Treadwell's missed connections was a disastrously-run route. Treadwell hasn't looked ready for prime time this season, and is going to have a ton to prove in 2017. He was supposed to be more polished than he's been.
Terrance Williams caught 2-of-3 targets for 13 yards in the Cowboys' Week 13 win over the Vikings.
Williams has five catches over his past four games, and 29 on the season. The 27 year old is headed to free agency in the offseason.
Cole Beasley caught 2-of-4 targets for 23 yards in the Cowboys' Week 13 win over the Vikings.
Both the catches and yards were season lows for the dependable slot option. He should bounce back to the 5/50 range in Week 14 against the Giants.
Matt Asiata rushed six times for 30 yards in the Vikings' Week 13 loss to the Cowboys.
Asiata "added" one catch for -3 yards. At one point, Asiata took a handoff out of the Wild Cat formation. It was that kind of night for the Vikings. Asiata will remain a touchdown-or-bust RB4/FLEX against the Jags in Week 14.
Cordarrelle Patterson caught 2-of-3 targets for 10 yards in the Vikings' Week 13 loss to the Cowboys.
Patterson was called for offensive pass interference, and had a night to forget on special teams, the lowlight being a fourth quarter muff. Patterson simply isn't an effective player when he's doing anything other than returning kickoffs.
Adam Thielen caught 7-of-9 targets for 86 yards in the Vikings' Week 13 loss to the Cowboys.
Soaking up checkdowns, Thielen actually led the Vikings in receiving yards, but committed a catastrophic blunder in the fourth quarter, losing a fumble on a punt return. It was encouraging that Thielen remained so involved even with Stefon Diggs back in the lineup, but his kind of game is his absolute ceiling. Most weeks he'll catch 4-6 passes for 40-60 yards. You can do better.
Kyle Rudolph caught 6-of-12 targets for 45 yards in the Vikings' Week 13 loss to the Cowboys.
Rudolph had a decent night in a golden matchup. The 12 targets were actually his most of the season, giving him 22 over his past two games. Rudolph is an every-week TE1, but will typically find himself in the 8-12 range, depending on the foe.
