Charcandrick West (ankle) has been ruled out for Week 4.

Jamaal Charles (knee) has been upgraded to questionable and apparently has an outside chance to contribute on Sunday Night Football against the Steelers. Spencer Ware is locked in as Kansas City's feature back. West can be dropped in all leagues, although he never should have been on fantasy rosters anyway.

Texans coach Bill O'Brien confirms J.J. Watt (back) is out for the season.

Watt tried to play through a back injury the first three weeks but obviously that only made things worse. He underwent surgery on Thursday and will now miss the remainder of 2016. Sunday against Tennessee will be the first game Watt has missed since entering the league as the 11th overall pick in 2011. Jadeveon Clowney and Whitney Mercilus will be the Texans' primary pass rushers in his absence.

The Dolphins expect C Mike Pouncey (hip) to resume practicing in Week 5.

The Dolphins' offensive line can use whatever help it can get after Geno Atkins & Co. destroyed it on Thursday Night Football. Pouncey is one of the top centers in the league when healthy. He didn't play in the first four games.

Dolphins coach Adam Gase said Friday that CB Tony Lippett will retain his starting job.

Lippett got manhandled by A.J. Green on Thursday night, but his predecessor Byron Maxwell got manhandled the week before by Terrelle Pryor. The Dolphins have the NFL's worst cornerback group and offenses will continue to attack it.
Sep 30 - 2:02 PM

Antonio Gates (hamstring) remained sidelined at Friday's practice.

It's a pretty obvious sign that he's not going to play this week. Hunter Henry played 59-of-61 offensive snaps with Gates sidelined in Week 3. He'll be in the TE1 mix Sunday against New Orleans.

Markus Wheaton is still dealing with "discomfort" in his shoulder.

An AC sprain in Wheaton's shoulder cost him the first two weeks. He returned in Week 3, dropped three passes, and got benched before returning when Eli Rogers (turf toe) left the game. The Steelers can't count on Wheaton to make meaningful contributions at this point. He's droppable in 14-team leagues.
Sep 30 - 2:00 PM

Josh Doctson (Achilles) is out for Week 4 against the Browns.

Doctson didn't practice this week and coach Jay Gruden hinted that he could be facing a multi-week absence. Achilles issues sidelined Doctson for most of the offseason and apparently the injury has resurfaced. Doctson has logged just 31 snaps this year. He isn't worth a bench stash in re-draft leagues.
Sep 30 - 1:50 PM

Eli Rogers (turf toe) has been ruled out for Week 4 against Kansas City.

This sets up to increase Markus Wheaton's playing time at slot receiver, although Wheaton dropped three passes and got benched last week. We wouldn't be surprised to see Le'Veon Bell play a ton of slot receiver on Sunday night.
