Justin Bour went 2-for-4 and drove in a pair of runs on Tuesday as the Marlins topped the Mets.

Bour got the Marlins on the board with a two-run single in the first inning. He's in the midst of a breakout season offensively, slashing .293/.365/.572 with 18 homers and 50 RBI.

A.J. Ramos pitched a scoreless ninth inning against the Mets on Tuesday, securing his 13th save of the season.

Ramos allowed a leadoff single to Jose Reyes, but nothing more came from it. The 30-year-old right-hander has now made good on 13 of his 14 save chances while compiling a 3.49 ERA, 1.27 WHIP and 37/15 K/BB ratio across 28 1/3 innings.

Dan Straily pitched well in a no-decision against the Mets on Tuesday, allowing two runs on five hits across five innings.

Straily walked one and struck out four on the night. He surrendered a leadoff homer to Curtis Granderson, then kept the Mets at bay aside from an RBI single by Travis d'Arnaud in the fourth. He'll carry an impressive 3.44 ERA and 1.10 WHIP into Sunday's matchup against the Brewers in Milwaukee.

Curtis Granderson launched his 11th homer in a losing effort against the Marlins on Tuesday night.

The veteran outfielder has made it a habit recently of leading off games with solo home runs. It was his lone hit in five at-bats on the night though. Granderson is hitting .234/.326/.464 with 11 homers and 30 RBI on the year.
Jun 28 - 12:05 AM

Travis d'Arnaud homered and drove in a pair of runs on Tuesday as the Mets fell to the Marlins.

The hard-hitting backstop drove in a run with an RBI single in the fourth inning, then clubbed a solo homer that tied the game at 3-3 in the seventh. He finished the night 2-for-4 and is now hitting .226/.288/.466 with nine homers and 26 RBI.
Jun 28 - 12:05 AM

White Sox optioned RHP Juan Minaya to Triple-A Charlotte.

Minaya holds a 6.94 ERA over eight relief appearances with the big club this season. Carlos Rodon (biceps) will be activated from the disabled list Wednesday as the corresponding move.
Jun 28 - 12:00 AM

Jose Abreu delivered a two-run single with two outs in the bottom of the ninth to give the White Sox a 4-3 win over the Yankees on Tuesday.

He previously had an RBI double in the contest. Despite a slow start, Abreu is up to 51 RBI, putting him on pace to reach the century mark for the fourth time in four seasons as a major leaguer.
Jun 27 - 11:57 PM

DJ LeMahieu exited Tuesday's game against the Giants with a right groin cramp.

LeMahieu evidently must have felt something when he ran out a groundball in the top of the fourth, as he was removed in between innings. A cramp is certainly better than a strain, and the Rockies are calling him day-to-day. However, they might have more on the second baseman's status after the game.
