Jose Bautista is starting at third base on Tuesday night against the Brewers.

Bautista has played some third base this season, but only as a substitute. This will be his first start there since April 14, 2013. Toronto has had to scramble at the hot corner with Josh Donaldson (calf) on the disabled list.

Yasiel Puig (back) is in the Dodgers' starting lineup on Tuesday night against the Cardinals.

Puig missed some action this weekend with mild back tightness. He will start in right field and bat eighth Tuesday versus Cardinals right-hander Lance Lynn.
May 23 - 6:13 PM

Dallas Keuchel (neck) plans to return to the Astros' rotation Saturday against the Orioles.

That's the first day he's eligible for activation from the 10-day disabled list. "I feel a lot better," Keuchel told reporters Tuesday. "The plan is still the same ... good for Saturday." The ace left-hander was 7-0 with a sensational 1.84 ERA, 0.86 WHIP, and 54/14 K/BB ratio in 63 2/3 innings before going down with a pinched nerve in his neck.
May 23 - 6:12 PM

Kolten Wong (elbow) remains out of the Cardinals' starting lineup on Tuesday night against the Dodgers.

Wong remains day-to-day with mild discomfort in his left elbow. He was probably going to sit anyway with the Dodgers throwing left-hander Clayton Kershaw. Jedd Gyorko is starting at second base and batting cleanup. Jhonny Peralta is at third base and batting sixth.

Royals sent RHP Al Alburquerque outright to Triple-A Omaha.

Alburquerque was designated for assignment by Kansas City on Sunday after posting a 6.75 ERA in five relief appearances. He can refuse the outright assignment and become a free agent.
May 23 - 6:00 PM

Francisco Liriano (shoulder) is expected to make a rehab start on Sunday.

Liriano had a successful live batting practice session on Tuesday evening and will be cleared to join one of the Blue Jays' minor league affiliates this weekend if he wakes up Wednesday with no abnormal discomfort. The veteran left-hander is on track to return to Toronto's starting rotation in early June. He has a 6.35 ERA in 28 1/3 innings this season.

Andrew Toles underwent season-ending surgery Tuesday for a torn ACL.

The procedure was performed by Dr. Neal ElAttrache at the Kerlan-Jobe Clinic in Los Angeles. Toles tore his right ACL while trying to track down a ball in left field back on May 9 at Dodger Stadium. He is under the Dodgers' control for close to the major league minimum in 2018.

Avisail Garcia has been scratched from the White Sox starting lineup on Tuesday night.

No word yet on the reason for the sudden change. Willy Garcia is now starting in right field and batting seventh versus Diamondbacks left-hander Patrick Corbin.

RotoGrinders.com Daily Slant: The Diamondbacks are the clear team of interest offensively in this one, but the White Sox have some appeal as well in hitter friendly Chase Field. Patrick Corbin has been much better at home this season compared to last, but he's still allowing plenty of hard contact to RHs at home (35.9 hard%) and it wouldn't be at all surprising to see a few of the Chicago RH bats post mouthwatering fantasy totals here. A surging Tim Anderson, Jose Abreu and Todd Frazier are all fine targets.
