Jimmy Butler (knee) has a meniscus tear in his right knee and is determining treatment options, according to Shams Charania of Yahoo! Sports.

Feb 24 - 5:36 PM

Kobi Simmons is with the Grizzlies for Saturday against the Heat.

Getting a callup here probably means Tyreke Evans (ribs) is going to miss more time. Simmons isn't a lock for the rotatiin, but he's been productive in the G League.
Feb 24 - 5:30 PM

An MRI taken Saturday afternoon on Jimmy Butler's right knee revealed a meniscal injury.

The team did not reveal any other details on the injury and did not specify the severity. If he has a tear in his meniscus, he's likely looking at around 6-8 weeks, but it's possible that's not the case. If he only needs arthroscopic surgery, it may be closer to 3-6 weeks. It's worth a mention that Butler's right knee was the same knee that kept him out a week in the first half of the season. Butler's fantasy owners just have to sit tight for now. Meanwhile, picking up Nemanja Bjelica isn't a bad idea in 12-team leagues. For Wolves fans, it sounds like Butler has a good chance to be ready for the postseason.

Jonathon Simmons (ankle) is starting against the 76ers on Saturday.

He was expected to play and everything likely went fine in warmups. Simmons has kind of cooled off lately, but should have a decent opportunity to run some of the offense even with Aaron Gordon and Nikola Vucevic in the mix.
Feb 24 - 4:29 PM

Danny Green (illness) is not on the injury report for Sunday against the Cavs.

That should mean he's OK to play after he had some bad spaghetti to keep him out of action on Friday. He'll likely be in the starting lineup.
Feb 24 - 4:08 PM

Manu Ginobili (bruised sternum) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Cavs.

Danny Green didn't appear on the injury report, so maybe he's back to help the backcourt rotation. If Manu is out, that should give more minutes to Bryn Forbes and Patty Mills.
Feb 24 - 4:06 PM

Terrence Ross (knee) recently had a setback in his rehab, but he said he is "close" to a return.

It's been fairly quiet on the Ross front outside of him doing some light running. The Magic won't be rushing Ross back anytime soon and he does not have a target date.
Feb 24 - 4:04 PM

Jonathon Simmons (ankle) is expected to play against the 76ers on Saturday.

He is technically a game-time decision from a left ankle issue. This is not the same ankle that was a lingering issue earlier this month, and he wasn't on the injury report yesterday. For now, we'd expect him to be out there and he may have to guard Ben Simmons.
