Chris Givens secured his lone target for 19 yards in the Eagles' third preseason game.
Givens made his reception playing early with the first-team offense, then wasn't heard from again. With Jordan Matthews (knee) on the shelf, the Eagles rotated Josh Huff, Dorial Green-Beckham, Givens, and still-struggling Nelson Agholor with the first-team offense. Givens is on the roster bubble.
Justin Forsett didn't have any yards on two carries in Baltimore's third preseason game.
Forsett started, but the Ravens had a heavy rotation with their first-team offense. His veteran status makes him the favorite for early-down work despite his nondescript preseason. Baltimore's running back situation should be avoided for fantasy purposes.
Zach Ertz caught 5-of-5 targets for 25 yards in the Eagles' third preseason game.
Ertz's catches consisted of dump offs near the line of scrimmage, but it was good to see him involved on high-percentage routes. Ertz is in position to be heavily targeted due to the Eagles' deficiencies at wide receiver.
Marvin Jones caught 3-of-6 targets for 25 yards in the Lions' third preseason game.
Jones was more involved than Golden Tate and Anquan Boldin. He was featured in the red-zone, but couldn't come down with either of his targets. The Lions should be one of the most pass heavy teams in the league, but they don't have a true No. 1 wideout. Jones will open the season opposite Tate in two-wide sets.
Eli Manning completed 10-of-15 passes for 65 yards, zero touchdowns and an interception in Saturday's preseason game against the Jets.
It was a horrendous performance, but Eli was under constant duress from a hungry-looking Jets defense. He was lucky to escape without multiple picks, though the ball that did get intercepted was alligator armed by Odell Beckham. Manning finishes August having completed 14-of-24 throws for 109 yards (4.54 YPA), zero scores and tonight's pick. The rough preseason is inconsequential for a player who remains a mid-range QB1 thanks in large part to Beckham's all-world playmaking.
Darren Sproles caught his lone target for a gain of eight in the Eagles' third preseason game.
The Eagles gave Kenjon Barner and rookie Wendell Smallwood looks with the first-team offense on Saturday night, but not until after Ryan Mathews and Sproles were rested. Sproles is Philadelphia's third-down back with the potential for a little more. He's one of the better PPR value picks in the late rounds.
Anquan Boldin caught 3-of-5 targets for 22 yards in Detroit's third preseason game.
Boldin got most of his targets on third down and in the red-zone. He projects as Detroit's primary underneath receiver to open the season. Boldin has five catches for 59 yards through three preseason games.
DeMarco Murray rushed eight times for 40 yards and a touchdown in the Titans' third preseason game Saturday night.
Murray got the start and dominated snaps on the first three series. He put a good move on a defender in the hole to create a 16-yard gain on his first run, and he exploited a big hole for a 17-yard gain off the right side to open the second quarter. He also capped the opening drive with a one-yard score on his second attempt from inside the five. Murray has been outplayed by Derrick Henry this preseason, but he is still firmly entrenched atop the depth chart. Even so, he is overvalued early in the fourth round.
