ESPN's Jerry Crasnick reports that the Cubs are "among several clubs" to inquire on Mets right-hander Seth Lugo.

It would probably take a big-time prospect or two to pluck Lugo away from New York, as the 27-year-old boasts a 3.32 ERA over his first 116 2/3 major league innings and is under contractual control through 2022. But perhaps the 47-51 Mets will try to sell high on a guy who's had recent elbow problems. Crasnick says the Cubs "love his spin rate and think he has breakout potential."

Red Sox activated RHP Blaine Boyer from the 10-day disabled list.

Boyer missed exactly 10 days with a minor elbow strain. The 36-year-old right-hander holds a solid 3.00 ERA in 24 innings of relief this season for the Red Sox.

Red Sox placed RHP Ben Taylor on the 10-day disabled list with a left intercostal strain.

That type of injury usually requires 3-4 weeks of recovery time, sometimes more. Blaine Boyer (elbow) has been activated from the DL to fill Taylor's spot in the Red Sox bullpen.

According to FOX Sports' Ken Rosenthal, the Cubs, Red Sox, Rockies, Indians, Pirates, Orioles, White Sox, Tigers, Athletics, and Blue Jays are the 10 teams on Yu Darvish's no-trade list.

Meaning, of course, that he can veto a deal to any of those 10 clubs. The big notable here is the presence of the Cubs, as they have expressed serious interest, but Darvish might not be against a move to the defending World Series champs and the DH-less National League. The 30-year-old impending free agent holds a 3.44 ERA, 1.12 WHIP, and 143/43 K/BB ratio in 133 1/3 innings (21 starts) this season with Texas.

White Sox activated RHP Jake Petricka from the 10-day disabled list.

Petricka returns to the White Sox bullpen after throwing three scoreless rehab innings across two appearances at Triple-A Charlotte. The right-hander might see some save opportunities down the stretch in Chicago given that David Robertson, Tommy Kahnle, Anthony Swarzak have all been traded. Tyler Clippard could be flipped at some point too.

Jake Petricka (elbow) threw two scoreless innings at Triple-A Charlotte on Monday.

Petricka could take over the roster spot left vacant by Tuesday's trade that sent Anthony Swarzak to the Brewers and he might even be in the running for saves down the stretch in the patchwork White Sox bullpen -- if his health cooperates. Petricka has been out since June 29 with an elbow strain and he's logged just 18 2/3 total innings over the last two seasons.

Ryan Cordell will go on the disabled list at Triple-A Charlotte.

Cordell was just acquired from the Brewers on Tuesday for Anthony Swarzak, but he's been sidelined with a back injury for the last couple of weeks and still needs more rest and rehab. The 25-year-old outfielder was batting .284/.349/.506 with 10 home runs, 45 RBI, nine stolen bases, and 49 runs scored through 68 games this season with Triple-A Colorado Springs. He could get his first taste of the majors as a September callup.

Yankees manager Joe Girardi said Aaron Judge will be back in the lineup on Thursday.

Judge is "a little banged up," per Girardi, and he will not start in Wednesday afternoon's series finale against the Reds. But this is nothing serious. Clint Frazier will handle right field and bat ninth versus Cincinnati starter Homer Bailey.
