Charles Clay (knee) remained limited on Thursday.

The Dolphins have adopted a Patriots-esque strategy with Clay's injury-report statuses, "limiting" him every day the past two weeks. He's in zero danger of missing Week 3, and remains a borderline TE1.
Sep 18 - 5:20 PM

49ers TE Derek Carrier may be poised for significant playing time in Week 3 at Arizona due to injuries to Vernon Davis (ankle) and Vance McDonald (knee).

Carrier came off the bench in last Sunday night's loss to Chicago, turning four targets into 41 yards on three catches. The former Beloit (WI) college basketball player and track star runs 4.5-flat at 6-foot-3, 238 pounds with a 38-inch vertical. In an ideal matchup against a Cardinals defense that hemorrhages fantasy points to tight ends, Carrier is on the Week 3 streamer radar.

DeAndre Hopkins missed Thursday's practice with illness, but is in no danger of missing Week 3.

Hopkins will be a high-upside WR4 against the Giants.
Sep 18 - 5:07 PM

Arian Foster (hamstring) remained limited in Thursday's practice.

It's always notable when someone with Foster's injury history misses practice time, but we've yet to see anything to suggest his Week 3 status is in doubt. The Texans are almost certainly just limiting their workhorse's reps after he carried the ball a combined 55 times in Weeks 1-2. Foster's status will be updated on Friday.
Sep 18 - 5:04 PM

Cordarrelle Patterson was added to the Vikings' injury report on Thursday, getting in a limited session with a chest issue.

Patterson joins Keenan Allen and Bernard Pierce as surprise Thursday additions to the injury report. "Chest" is a rather vague designation, but it's hard to believe it's something that will keep Patterson out for Week 3. Owners must now monitor his status ahead of Sunday's trip to New Orleans, but we're leaving Patterson penciled in as a WR2.
Sep 18 - 4:55 PM

Raiders waived DE Shelby Harris.

Harris was the No. 235 pick of May's draft. Although he was just a seventh-rounder, it's tough to see the Raiders throwing in the towel on yet another one of GM Reggie McKenzie's picks. The Raiders will likely try to sign Harris to the practice squad if he goes unclaimed on waivers.
Sep 18 - 4:53 PM

Jamaal Charles (ankle) was officially limited in Thursday's return to practice.

It's quite possible the Chiefs are just trying to confuse the situation for the Dolphins, but reporters present for practice noted that Charles was moving well, and even cutting in position drills. What's clear is that Charles does not have a traditional high-ankle sprain, if he has one at all. For now, he should be considered slightly less than 50-50 to play. Even if Charles did suit up against Miami, it's quite possible he'd be on a snap count. His status should be updated multiple times over the next 24 hours.
Sep 18 - 4:46 PM

CBS' Jason La Canfora does "not expect" Roddy White to be active for Thursday's game against the Bucs.

It's a surprise, as both the Falcons and Atlanta media have continually indicated that White will play despite missing practice all week. White didn't miss a snap in Sunday's loss to the Bengals. We'll know whether or not White is active by 7ET, but even if he does suit up, it's possible he could be limited to decoy duties. White's status will be updated later this afternoon/evening.
