Leonard Fournette (ankle) is inactive for Week 7 against the Colts.

Fournette told reporters he expected to play this week, but the Jaguars are playing it safe with an upcoming bye. Chris Ivory will start and is a plug-and-play RB2, with Corey Grant likely to see more snaps on pass downs. Fournette looks on track to return in Week 9.

Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer expects Browns CB Jason McCourty (questionable, ankle) to be inactive for Week 7 against the Titans.

He tweaked his ankle at Friday's practice and per Cabot, it "wasn't looking good for him" this morning. McCourty has been the league's top cover corner according to PFF's grades this season, so this would obviously be a major blow to the Browns' secondary. It would also be an upgrade for all Titans pass-catchers including Rishard Matthews and Eric Decker.

ProFootballTalk reports the Texans are open to trading holdout LT Duane Brown.

Brown has skipped the first six games over a contract dispute. There's speculation he'll return in Week 8 to avoid his deal from tolling, but it's not clear if the Texans want him back. Brown is one of the bigger names that could be moved ahead of the trade deadline. The Seahawks and Cardinals are contenders that need an upgrade at left tackle.

Updating an earlier report, Jeremy Maclin (shoulder) is out for Week 7 against the Vikings.

Maclin was originally expected to play but had a setback during pregame warmups. This will be his second straight absence. With Breshad Perriman (concussion) also out, Mike Wallace and Michael Campanaro will work as the Ravens' lead wideouts on Sunday.

Cardinals coach Bruce Arians said he "would love" if Adrian Peterson saw 25 carries per game.

He added they could get Peterson involved in the passing game now that he has more of the playbook down, something they may need with Andre Ellington unlikely to play against the Rams. Peterson is a must-start this week in a great matchup.

ESPN's Dianna Russini reports Willie Snead (hamstring) will be inactive for Week 7 against the Packers.

Snead must have had a setback after seeing just three targets last week in his season debut. His absence will open up snaps for Ted Ginn while cementing Mike Thomas' status as a top-shelf WR1. Consider Snead week to week.

NFL Network's Steve Wychte confirms 49ers first-round LB Reuben Foster (questionable, ankle) will start Week 7 against the Cowboys.

He's back after missing the last five games with a high-ankle sprain. Ray-Ray Armstrong had been filling in for him on the weak side.
Oct 22 - 10:47 AM

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports C.J. Prosise (ankle) will either be inactive or play "minimal snaps" Week 7 against the Giants.

This is a surprise. A full participant in practice both Thursday and Friday, Prosise was fully expected to return after sitting out two games and the bye with a bum ankle. With Prosise expected to be at best limited, J.D. McKissic should retain a role in the passing game, but neither is worth starting in fantasy. Prosise is not a must-hold in shallow leagues.
