John Axford skated on thin ice again but managed to nail down his sixth save with a scoreless frame in Sunday's win over the Blue Jays.

Axford gave up a couple singles and a walk to load the bases with Edwin Encarnacion with two outs. He got a gift called strike on a 3-0 count and eventually got E5 to ground out into the shift. While Ax has converted six saves in seven chances, he's walked seven in 7 2/3 innings and has a pedestrian 3.52 ERA and 1.57 WHIP. Cody Allen -- who still hasn't given up a run -- continues to look like the best reliever Cleveland has.

Diamondbacks manager Kirk Gibson confirmed Sunday that Mike Bolsinger will remain in the rotation to start against the Cubs in Chicago on Thursday.

Bolsinger struggled in his MLB debut on Saturday, allowing six earned runs in four innings of work against the Dodgers. He remains an unattractive option in all but NL-only formats.

Steve Cishek worked out of a ninth inning jam to earn his third save of the season, securing the Marlins' 3-2 win over the Mariners on Sunday.

Cishek started the inning by allowing a leadoff double to Corey Hart, and a groundout left a runner at third with one out. After a walk to Justin Smoak, the right-hander buckled down, striking out Nick Franklin and pinch-hitter Michael Saunders to end the game. Cishek is 3-for-3 in save opportunities and still hasn't allowed a run over six innings to start the year.
Apr 20 - 4:23 PM

Corey Hart went 2-for-4 with two doubles in Sunday's loss to the Marlins.

Hart scored the Mariners' first run of the game following the double, and he was replaced for a pinch-runner after leading off the ninth inning with another two-base hit. The right fielder is hitting .269 in his first three weeks of action after missing all of 2013 with knee injuries.
Apr 20 - 4:20 PM

Brandon Morrow struck out six and allowed only two runs but lasted just five innings in Sunday's loss to the Indians.

He yielded three hits, walked a pair and was his usual inefficient self with 95 pitches in five-plus frames. Morrow has 17 strikeouts in 14 2/3 innings this season but holds a 5.03 ERA and has gone six innings just once in four starts. He'll go up against the Red Sox next weekend.

Christian Yelich doubled in the eighth inning Sunday to keep his 14-game hitting streak alive.

It was the young outfielder's only hit in four at-bats, and he came around to score the game-tying run in the come-from-behind victory. Yelich is hitting .379 over the 14-game stretch and is batting .333 overall.
Apr 20 - 4:16 PM

Robinson Cano went 2-for-4 with a run scored in Sunday's loss to the Marlins.

Cano doubled, his third of the season, and scored in the fourth inning. It was only his second extra-base hit since April 6 as he's struggling to hit for much power to open the year. He also singled on the day, giving him five multi-hit games this season.
Apr 20 - 4:16 PM

Michael Brantley doubled in a run and also ripped a solo homer in Sunday's win over the Blue Jays.

He also drew a walk, reaching base in three of his four trips to the plate. One of the most underappreciated players in the game, Brantley is hitting .284/.368/.478 with three homers and 16 RBI this season. David Murphy also came up big for the Tribe, drilling a bases-clearing double in the sixth to put the Indians ahead for good.
