Patriots place RB Dion Lewis (knee) on the reserve/PUP list.
Speaking Tuesday, Vikings coach Mike Zimmer confirmed Teddy Bridgewater's knee injury is "significant."
Redskins placed TE Derek Carrier (knee) on the reserve/PUP list.
A depth piece, Carrier tore his ACL and MCL last December. He'll be first eligible to return in Week 7.
Redskins placed RB Keith Marshall on injured reserve with a sprained elbow, ending his season.
Marshall was originally given a three-week timeline upon going down in the third preseason game, but either his prognosis got worse, or the Redskins used his injury as an opportunity to free up a roster spot. Marshall was a hyped seventh-rounder out of Georgia, but didn't make nearly as much noise once the pads went on. Injuries are nothing new for Marshall, whose time in the SEC was marked by one ailment after another. UDFA Rob Kelley will begin the year as Matt Jones' direct backup.
Giants waived WR K.J. Maye, DE Mike Rose, OL Shane McDermott, RB Marshaun Coprich, CB Joe Powell and DT Davon Coleman.
Maye was a priority undrafted free agent out of Minnesota, but probably won't even make the practice squad after getting let loose at first cuts.
Broncos placed TE Garrett Graham (shoulder) on injured reserve.
A longtime Gary Kubiak favorite, Graham has battled shoulder problems for years and couldn't shake them in Broncos camp. The team will move forward with John Phillips and Jeff Heuerman behind Virgil Green at tight end.
Titans waived RB David Cobb.
A fifth-round pick in 2015, Cobb flamed out quickly in Tennessee. He didn't put enough on regular- or preseason tape to earn a serious glance elsewhere.
Patriots released LB Ramon Humber.
The longtime Saint was trying to earn a reserve role on defense. Headed into his age-29 season, Humber's special teams prowess should earn him a look elsewhere.
