Christian Bergman was outstanding in Sunday's victory over the Red Sox, scattering four hits and apair of walks over seven shutout innings.

The right-hander struck out two on the afternoon. Aside from a disaster against the Nationals his last time out, he has pitched relatively well through four starts with the Mariners. He'll bring a 4.67 ERA, 1.33 WHIP and 14/8 K/BB ratio into Friday's matchup against the Rays.

Dustin Pedroia went 2-for-4 with a double as the Red Sox were shut out by Christian Bergman and the Mariners on Sunday.

As a team, the Red Sox mustered a total of five hits on the afternoon, with Pedroia responsible for the only multi-hit effort and the lone extra-base hit. The veteran second baseman is now hitting .294/.371/.382 with two homers and 21 RBI on the season.

Rick Porcello logged a quality start in Sunday's loss to the Mariners, allowing two runs on 11 hits across 6 1/3 innings.

The right-hander racked up six strikeouts on the afternoon while walking one. While he allowed a plethora of baserunners, he was able to bear down and make quality pitches to get him out of several sticky situations. Now 3-6 on the season, he'll carry a disappointing 4.21 ERA and 1.48 WHIP into Friday's start against the Orioles in Baltimore.

Matt Shoemaker surrendered four earned runs over 4 2/3 innings Sunday in a loss to the Marlins.

In his last start, Shoemaker yielded just three hits over 6 1/3 innings in a combined shutout of the Rays. But it was a very different experience for him on Sunday. Giancarlo Stanton hit a solo bomb in the first inning and J.T. Riddle added a two-run blast in the fifth, just after an RBI single by Ichiro Suzuki. Shoemaker's season ERA jumped from 3.97 to 4.26 in the loss. He'll get the Twins at home next.

Adam Duvall finished 3-for-4 with two home runs and five RBI in the Reds' 8-4 win over the Phillies on Sunday.

Duvall opened the game's scoring with an RBI single off Phillies starter Zach Eflin in the top of the first inning before tagging Eflin for two-run homers in both the third and fifth. The 28-year-old slugger is batting .274/.317/.548 with 13 home runs and 43 RBI in 48 games this season for Cincinnati. He's currently on pace for a whopping 142 runs batted in.

Patrick Kivlehan homered twice Sunday in the Reds' victory over the Phillies.

Kivlehan hit a solo shot in the fourth inning off Phillies starter Zach Eflin and another solo bomb off reliever Jeanmar Gomez in the top of the ninth. The 27-year-old had been stuck in a bad slump offensively but still owns a respectable .792 OPS for the year in a reserve role with Cincinnati.

Scott Feldman yielded four earned runs over five innings but got a win Sunday versus the Phillies.

Feldman was backed by eight runs, including five homers, from the Cincinnati offense. The right-hander didn't issue a walk and struck out three, but he gave up eight hits. He'll bring a 4-4 record, 4.26 ERA, and 1.30 WHIP into his next start at home against the Braves.

Zach Eflin fell to 0-3 on the season after yielding seven earned runs over five innings Sunday in a loss to the Reds.

Eflin surrendered nine hits, including four home runs, in the ugly home outing at Citizens Bank Park. He walked one and struck out three. The right-hander now owns a 6.13 ERA and 1.43 WHIP through eight starts in 2017.
