Lamar Miller rushed for 22 yards on 14 carries while adding seven yards on one catch Week 13 against the Packers.
Miller went to the locker room after the first series with a rib injury, but he returned late in the first quarter. He saw plenty of work after returning to the game, but the Texans could not get much of anything going on offense. Miller did give up a series late in the game to Alfred Blue, who responded with a couple long runs. It is possible the Texans were protecting Miller in a blowout. Miller has a mouth-watering matchup against the Colts next week, but his health is a real concern.
Blake Bortles completed 19-of-42 passes for 181 yards and two interceptions in the Jaguars' Week 13 loss to the Broncos.
His lone positive contribution was a 22-yard rushing score in the second half. Bortles threw the 11th pick six of his career to Broncos RCB Bradley Roby on a pass intended for Allen Robinson. Both of Bortles' picks were intended for Robinson, in fact. Bortles will continue to be a rushing- and garbage-time-dependent QB2 in Week 14 against the Vikings' shutdown pass defense.
Devonta Freeman rushed 15 times for 56 yards and two touchdowns in the Falcons' Week 13 loss to the Chiefs, adding four receptions for 49 additional yards.
Tyler Boyd caught 4-of-6 targets for 66 yards in the Bengals' Week 13 win over the Eagles.
The rookie has now seen 15 targets in the two games A.J. Green (hamstring) has missed, and he's turned them into nine catches for 128 scoreless yards. Boyd remains a poor bet for a touchdown each week, but he's put himself on the WR3 map in PPR leagues. The Bengals get the Browns in Week 14.
Terrance West supplied 50 yards and a touchdown on 10 carries and also caught three passes for 18 yards and a touchdown Sunday in the Ravens' Week 13 win over the Dolphins.
The Ravens barely acknowledged their running game until late as West rushed just four times for 11 yards in the first half. West caught the Dolphins napping on a third-yard touchdown catch on Baltimore's opening drive. He added to his haul with a nine-yard rushing score in the fourth quarter. West and Kenneth Dixon were announced as co-starters, though West won the touch battle 13-10. West has averaged just 10.3 carries over his last three games. He’ll be a borderline RB2 next week in Foxboro. That will be a Monday Night game.
Dennis Pitta snagged nine-of-11 targets for 90 yards and two touchdowns Sunday in the Ravens' Week 13 win over the Dolphins.
Pitta ended a 17-game touchdown drought on Sunday and he did it with style. Baltimore made a point to attack the middle of the field, which, coincidentally, is where Pitta makes his living. His first touchdown came on a 13-yard pass Joe Flacco managed to squeeze between Isa Abdul-Quddus and Bacarri Rambo. He went for six again late in the first half, this time beating Rambo in zone coverage for a nine-yard score. Pitta’s nine catches matched a season-high and the 90 yards he tallied were his most since Week 2. Pitta will be on the TE2 scene next week against New England.
Martellus Bennett caught 2-of-4 targets for four yards in the Patriots' Week 13 win over the Rams.
Tom Brady tried to get Bennett a touchdown on a corner fade late in the first half, but the pass was defended well by Rams SS T.J. McDonald. Even without Rob Gronkowski (back) in the lineup, Bennett has settled in as a boom-bust TE1 option. He will remain that in Week 14 against Baltimore's stingy defense.
Paul Turner caught 6-of-8 targets for 80 yards in the Eagles' Week 13 loss to the Bengals.
Turner didn't do squat in his NFL debut last week against the Packers, but he came out and led the Eagles in receiving yards in this one. His big play was a 41-yard catch-and-run up the right sideline. With Jordan Matthews (ankle) out, Turner handled a ton of reps out of the slot. If Matthews doesn't come back for Week 14 against the Redskins, Turner will be on the deep PPR map.
