Mike Davis rushed seven times for 21 yards and a touchdown in the 49ers' Week 7 loss to the Bucs.
Davis scored an early touchdown, but he ultimately showed a colder hand than DuJuan Harris, who wound up getting the most touches in the 49ers' Carlos Hyde-less backfield. It's safe to leave Davis on the waiver wire.
Vance McDonald caught 1-of-6 targets for 24 yards in the 49ers' Week 7 loss to the Buccaneers.
McDonald rotates with Garrett Celek and lacks fantasy value with Colin Kaepernick under center. His yardage totals are 25 and 24 through two Kap starts.
Antonio Gates caught 5-of-10 targets for 38 yards in the Chargers' Week 7 win over the Falcons.
Shaun Draughn rushed once for 16 yards and caught 5-of-7 targets for 37 yards in the 49ers' Week 7 loss to the Bucs.
The 49ers spread DuJuan Harris, Mike Davis, and Draughn around pretty evenly. As expected, Draughn was most frequently utilized in the passing game. The 49ers are expected to get Carlos Hyde (shoulder) back after their Week 8 bye.
Hunter Henry caught 1-of-3 targets for 16 yards in San Diego's Week 7 win over the Falcons.
The rookie got out-targeted 10-3 by Antonio Gates, and tweaked something midway through the game. He was never announced with an injury, however. Encouragingly, Pro Football Focus tracked Henry as out-snapping Gates 47-37. Henry's lone grab was nearly a touchdown, but he got brought down at the three. One of his missed connections was an out-of-bounds score. Henry is a playmaker who will remain an important part of the Chargers' offense, but today confirmed he'll be a volatile, back-end TE1 when Gates is healthy.
DuJuan Harris rushed 11 times for 39 yards and caught 2-of-2 targets for 18 yards in Sunday's Week 7 loss to Tampa Bay.
The 49ers opened the game with Mike Davis as the starter, but they went with the hot hand when Harris showed the most juice. Davis wound up with just seven touches to Harris' 13 and Shaun Draughn's 6. As Carlos Hyde (shoulder) is due back after the 49ers' Week 8 bye, this fill-in RBBC is safe to ignore.
Travis Benjamin caught 4-of-5 targets for 54 yards in the Chargers' Week 7 win over the Falcons.
Playing through a knee issue, Benjamin didn't appear limited, but was fifth on the Chargers in targets. He's drawn more than eight looks only once all season, and has been making fewer plays than Tyrell Williams. Even in the context of the Chargers' explosive offense, Benjamin is shaping up as a low-floor, moderate-reward WR3.
Devonta Freeman rushed 15 times for 58 yards in the Falcons' Week 7 loss to the Chargers, adding five catches for 42 additional yards.
Freeman totaled 100 yards from scrimmage, and had some impressive shimmies, but it was a mildly disappointing effort on an afternoon where Tevin Coleman missed the bulk of the second half. Either way, Freeman continues to operate as one of the league's best, most versatile backs this season. With Coleman (hamstring) looking shaky for Week 8, Freeman could be an elite RB1 against the Packers.
