Brett Eibner was pulled from Tuesday's game against the Rays with an apparent Achilles injury.

Eibner grabbed at the back of his left leg while trying to track down a ball off the wall that turned into a triple for Brad Miller. Eibner had to be carted off the field. This could be a bad one.

Denard Span went 3-for-4 with a pair of RBI in Tuesday's win over the Giants.

Span tripled in a run in the sixth and singled in a run in the eighth. The Giants had only five hits on the night but held the Braves to just one base knock. Span has upped his average from .253 to .274 over the last six games.

Colby Lewis held the Indians off the scoreboard for six innings in Tuesday's 7-3 win.

Lewis gave up only two hits on the night, and they were both singles. He walked two and struck out two. The veteran right-hander has been far from dominant this season, striking out only 47 over 70 innings. However, he boasts a 3.09 ERA, 1.11 WHIP and a 5-0 record going into June. Lewis will try to keep it going next week against the Astros and Mariners.

Sam Dyson retired the only two batters he faced to record his sixth save of the season in Tuesday's win over the Indians.

The Rangers entered the ninth inning with a five-run lead, but Matt Bush gave up a run and left two runners on before Dyson entered to clean things up. Dyson has converted all four of his save chances since taking over the ninth inning and has allowed just three baserunners and no walk over seven appearances during that stretch.

Corey Kluber was charged with six runs over six innings of work in Tuesday's loss to the Rangers.

He served up home runs to Bryan Holaday and Jurickson Profar in the outing, giving up eight hits on the night. Kluber did at least strike out six batters without issuing a walk. It's been an inconsistent first two months for the right-hander, as he'll take a 4.15 ERA into June. However, his 1.11 WHIP and 73/16 K/BB ratio over 73 2/3 frames suggest a better ERA lies ahead. Kluber will get the Royals on Sunday.
May 31 - 9:37 PM

Jurickson Profar belted his first major league home run since September of 2013 in Tuesday's victory over the Indians.

The longball was a solo shot off of Corey Kluber in the fifth inning. Profar also singled and scored a run. The infielder is sporting a .348/.348/.565 batting line five games since taking over at second base for the suspended Rougned Odor. The Rangers are reportedly considering keeping Profar on the major league roster after Odor returns, although it remains to be seen how they'd plan to get him playing time.

Lonnie Chisenhall went 3-for-4 with a two-run homer in Tuesday's loss to the Rangers.

Chisenhall also singled in a run, as he drove in the Tribe's only three runs of the game. The right fielder has been quite productive even as the home run ball hasn't been there prior to Tuesday, batting .292/.364/.427.

Twins top prospect Kohl Stewart has been promoted from High-A Fort Myers to Double-A Chattanooga.

Stewart had registered a 2.61 ERA, 1.12 WHIP, and 44/19 K/BB ratio through 51 2/3 innings (nine starts) this season in High-A ball. Now the 21-year-old right-hander is ready for more of a test. He was selected fourth overall by Minnesota in the 2013 MLB Amateur Draft and has been a fast-riser for his age.
