Rockies LHP prospect Harrison Musgrave fired seven scoreless frames Wednesday in a win for Double-A Hartford.

He didn't allow a base-runner until Shawn Pleffner's two-out single in the seventh inning. Musgrave finished with a season-high six strikeouts and didn't allow a walk. The 24-year-old has won each of his three starts this year while contributing a spectacular 0.87 ERA. His 0.53 WHIP is second-lowest in the Eastern League behind Trenton right-hander Ronald Herrera (0.52). The 16-4 Yard Goats hold a three-game lead over Reading for first in their division.

White Sox recalled INF Carlos Sanchez from Triple-A Charlotte.

Sanchez is a .229/.268/.321 career hitter in 524 major league plate appearances. He's not fantasy-relevant.

White Sox placed RHP David Robertson on the bereavement list.

Robertson will be away from the club for 3-7 days following a death in the family. Nate Jones has been excellent in a setup role this season for the White Sox and should slide seamlessly into a fill-in closer role.

Rangers RHP prospect Pedro Payano spun a one-hit shutout Wednesday in a win for Low-A Hickory.

He finished with a season-high 11 strikeouts and only two walks. Payano had a no-hitter going until Greensboro's Isael Soto led off the eighth inning with a bloop single to left field. The 21-year-old improved to 1-1 while lowering his league-leading ERA to 0.38. Opponents have hit .089 against him with 27 punch-outs in 79 at-bats. 70 of his season-high 99 pitches Wednesday went for strikes.

White Sox OF prospect Mason Robbins hit for the cycle Wednesday in High-A Winston-Salem's loss to Lynchburg.

Robbins' three-run homer off Hillcats left-hander Sean Brady in the fourth inning marked his first home run of the year. He's contributed seven hits in his last 13 at-bats, raising his average from .178 to .259. The cycle was Winston-Salem's second of the season. Gerson Montilla accomplished the same feat in a game last Friday. Prior to that, no Winston-Salem player had completed the cycle since 2008.

Orioles 1B prospect Trey Mancini slugged three hits Wednesday in a win for Triple-A Norfolk.

Mancini recorded his first Triple-A hit on a fourth-inning triple. He added to his haul with a game-tying single in the 10th followed by a double in the 12th. The 24-year-old earned his promotion by hitting .302 with seven homers and 14 RBI in his first 17 games for Double-A Bowie. Mancini's path to the majors is blocked by Chris Davis at first base, but he might still be in line for a September callup depending on how the rest of the year goes.

Rockies 1B prospect Brian Mundell exploded for four hits including two home runs Wednesday in a win for Low-A Asheville.

Mundell got off to a relatively slow start, hitting .188 over his first eight games. Since then, he's hit an unbelievable .478 with 12 RBI. He's now tied for fifth in the South Atlantic League with seven doubles and is seventh in batting average at .359. Mundell has done almost everything right this year, except on the base paths. He's been gunned down on all three of his steal attempts.
