Knile Davis rushed 32 times for 132 yards and a touchdown as the Chiefs downed the Dolphins 34-15 in Week 3.

Sep 21 - 7:29 PM

Colin Kaepernick completed 29-of-37 passes for 245 yards, one touchdown and zero interceptions in San Francisco's 23-14, Week 3 loss to the Cardinals, adding 13 carries for 54 yards.

Kaep helped stake the 49ers to a 14-6 halftime lead, but couldn't get anything going in the second half as the 49ers self-destructed with penalties. Kaep's performance wasn't nearly as error-riddled as Week 2, but he still struggled with clock management, and sailed a few throws after the break. The rushing output was actually one of the highest of Kaep's regular-season career. Despite his up-and-down play the past two weeks, Kaep will be in the QB1 conversation for Week 4 against an Eagles defense that sweats points.

Jerricho Cotchery (hamstring) is inactive for Sunday night's Week 3 game against the Steelers.

Cotchery wasn't able to practice at all this week. Jason Avant (thigh) is active, but Cam Newton projects to rely very heavily on Kelvin Benjamin and Greg Olsen.
Sep 21 - 7:16 PM

Drew Stanton completed 18-of-33 passes for 244 yards, two touchdowns and zero interceptions in Arizona's 23-14, Week 3 win over the 49ers.

It was not a perfect game from Carson Palmer's fill-in, but Stanton was majorly improved on Week 2, looking much more willing to take shots down the field. He was rewarded with a 100-yard day from Michael Floyd, and two scores from rookie deep threat John Brown. Stanton could have thrown multiple picks, but none of the bounces fell the 49ers' way. Despite today's solid effort, Stanton will remain a bottom-barrel QB2 if called on to start against the Broncos in Week 5. There's no telling if Palmer will be ready by then.

Steelers RB/KR Dri Archer (ankle) is inactive for Sunday night's Week 3 game against the Panthers.

Archer practiced on a limited basis this week and could return in Week 4. The rest of the Steelers inactives are QB Landry Jones, LG Ramon Foster, NT Dan McCullers, CB B.W. Weeb, and OL Wesley Johnson. WR Martavis Bryant is a healthy scratch.
Sep 21 - 7:05 PM

Panthers declared DeAngelo Williams (thigh) and Jerricho Cotchery (hamstring) inactive for Sunday night's Week 3 game against the Steelers.

It's a surprise as the Panthers repeatedly said they expected Williams to suit up. Instead, it'll be Jonathan Stewart as the starter and flex option in a plus matchup at home against a weak Pittsburgh defense. With Cotchery out, the Panthers' top-two wideouts will be Kelvin Benjamin and Jason Avant. The rest of their inactives: QB Joe Webb, S Tre Boston, RB Fozzy Whittaker, G Andrew Norwell and David OT Foucoult.

Raiders SS Tyvon Branch fractured his foot in Sunday's Week 3 loss at New England.

Branch also missed the majority of last season after breaking his leg in Week 2. Now he's out indefinitely with this broken foot. The former IDP stud can be dropped across the board.

Latavius Murray had three carries for one yard in Week 3 against the Patriots.

Darren McFadden remained an every-down back with Maurice Jones-Drew sidelined. Murray was only used to spell McFadden, and doesn't have a defined role in the offense. McFadden is averaging just 3.3 YPC, so Murray remains a RB5 stash in deeper leagues.
