Matt Ryan completed 3-of-7 passes for 47 yards in the Falcons' third preseason game Saturday night.

Ryan completed as many passes as he took sacks and was also without Julio Jones, who took the night off after signing his mega-extension earlier Saturday afternoon. The Falcons' offensive line is still working itself out. Ryan played just a couple series and should be ready for the season opener. Through three preseason games, Ryan has completed 13-of-18 passes for 208 yards and two scores. Ryan is currently being drafted as QB7.

Redskins WR Pierre Garcon played just one series in the team's third preseason game.

Garcon saw just one target on the night. With Garcon unlikely to play in the final preseason game, he will finish the exhibition season with one catch for four yards. Despite the slow preseason, Garcon is a good bet to lead the Redskins in targets. He is an interesting pick in the double-digit rounds.

Ryan Tannehill completed 15-of-19 passes for 145 yards and one touchdown in Saturday's third preseason game.

It was about as perfect as Tannehill and the Dolphins could have hoped for in the regular-season dress rehearsal. He and Jarvis Landry hooked up five times for 84 yards on six targets, including a long 46-yard gain over the middle where Landry chewed up plenty of YAC. Tannehill found Rishard Matthews for his lone score, hooking up on a quick pass from two yards out. After three preseason games, Tannehill is 33-of-41 (80.4 percent) for 303 yards, three touchdowns, and zero interceptions. He's looking like a strong back-end QB1 with upside.

Randall Cobb suffered a shoulder injury in the Packers' third preseason game.

Cobb injured his shoulder trying to make a catch on the opening series. He was immediately take to the locker room, and is likely done for the game. The Packers can't afford to lose Cobb after Jordy Nelson's season-ending torn ACL. Ty Montgomery and Jeff Janis will get an extended look in three-wide sets.

Ravens WR Steve Smith was ejected from the team's third preseason game.

Smith took rightful exception to Keenan Robinson piledriving Kamar Aiken at the end of a first-quarter catch. He and Chris Culliver got into an altercation. Both were ejected. Smith burned the Redskins' secondary for a 63-yard touchdown early in the first quarter. He finished with 95 yards on four catches and the touchdown.
Aug 29 - 8:18 PM

Andy Dalton left Saturday's preseason game with a neck injury.

Dalton was injured on a one-yard QB Sneak touchdown. He completed his first six passes for 52 yards on the opening series prior to going down. Dalton should finish the preseason 15-of-22 for 133 yards with one touchdown and an interception.

Duke Johnson exited Saturday's third preseason game and is being evaluated for a concussion.

Getting his first action of the preseason after missing the first two with a hamstring injury, Johnson got the start for the Browns in the all-important dress rehearsal. His time in the game was quick, however, as he left in the first quarter. While in the lineup, all three Browns running backs, including Isaiah Crowell and Terrance West, mixed in on the opening series. This is looking like a situation to completely avoid until the mid-to-late rounds of fantasy drafts.

Rex Ryan said the Bills will make their decision on a starting quarterback Sunday.

The Bills don't plan to announce their starter, but there should be some clarity by early next week. Tyrod Taylor remains the favorite to start, though E.J. Manuel has put himself in the conversation after throwing for 170 yards and two touchdowns in Buffalo's third preseason game.
