Kendrys Morales clobbered his ninth home run of the season on Friday as the Blue Jays outlasted the Rangers.

His solo shot in the fifth inning increased the Jays' advantage to 6-3. He also singled in the ballgame, finishing the night 2-for-4. With the two-hit attack, he's now hitting .250/.300/.452 with nine homers and 26 RBI on the year.

Stephen Vogt socked a two-run homer Friday against the Yankees.

His ninth-inning blast off Jonathan Holder provided the A’s with some valuable late insurance. Vogt has been a disappointment on the whole this season, but he has perked up at the plate over the past few days. He’s batting .304 (7-for-23) with two homers, a double, six RBI, and six walks over his last seven games

Aaron Hicks went 1-for-3 with a walk and a run scored Friday versus the Athletics.

Hicks scored the only run of the game for the Yankees after drawing a leadoff walk in the ninth. The 27-year-old has been excellent when called upon this season, batting .292/.429/.566 with eight home runs, 20 RBI, and six steals through 35 games. He’ll be a regular with Jacoby Ellsbury (concussion) on the disabled list and and needs to be owned in most fantasy formats.

Chase Headley’s struggles continued in Friday’s loss to the Athletics, as he went 0-for-3 with two strikeouts.

Headley was one of the hottest hitters in the game through the first two weeks of the season, but he has gone dramatically in the other direction ever since. He’s batting just .158 with one home run over his last 29 games. His situation is worth watching with top prospect Gleyber Torres inching closer to the majors.

Roberto Osuna secured his eighth save of the season on Friday, retiring the only hitter he faced against the Rangers.

Osuna was summoned in the ninth inning after Rougned Odor had blasted a three-run homer to pull the Rangers to within a run. The right-hander needed just five pitches to whiff Mike Napoli and send the Blue Jays home with a victory. He now sports a 3.06 ERA and 0.96 WHIP on the season.
May 26 - 10:57 PM

Mike Bolsinger struggled in a no-decision against the Rangers on Friday, allowing three runs (two earned) on six hits and four walks over 4 2/3 innings.

Had he been able to get one more out, he would've at least been in line for a victory, but Bolsinger simply couldn't get out of the fifth inning. He owns an uninspiring 5.75 ERA and 1.87 WHIP on the season and should continue to be avoided for fantasy purposes for Wednesday's matchup against the Reds.
May 26 - 10:54 PM

Elvis Andrus went 1-for-4 and stole a pair of bases in Friday's loss to the Blue Jays.

He also drew a walk in the ballgame. Andrus is enjoying one of his best seasons offensively, slashing .270/.315/.423 with six homers, 22 RBI and nine stolen bases.
May 26 - 10:51 PM

Rougned Odor swatted his seventh home run of the season in a losing effort against the Blue Jays on Friday.

Odor's three-run blast pulled the Rangers to within a run in the ninth inning, but that would be as close as they would get. It was his lone hit in four at-bats on the evening. It has been a struggle at the plate for him through the first two months of the season, slashing just .208/.262/.365 with seven homers and 22 RBI.
