Texans promoted QB Taylor Heinicke from the practice squad.

It's confirmation Tom Savage (concussion) will be sidelined against the Titans.
Dec 14 - 6:00 PM

Chris Hogan (shoulder) remained "limited" in Thursday's practice.

Hogan avoided setbacks in his disappointing Week 14 return. He should be out there against the Steelers, and can be fired up as a WR3 for what profiles as a high-scoring game.
Dec 14 - 5:05 PM

David Njoku (foot, wrist) was limited in Wednesday and Thursday's practices.

It sounds like the Browns are just managing their rookie's reps near the end of the longest season of his football-playing life. Njoku has been providing a little upside as a TE2, but the main takeaway from his 2017 is that he's indeed a legitimate Dynasty league asset.
Dec 14 - 4:45 PM

JuJu Smith-Schuster was added to the Steelers' injury report on Thursday, getting in a limited session with a hamstring issue.

Smith-Schuster spent the second half of November battling hamstring problems. He missed Week 12. Mid-week additions are never good news, but his Friday status will be key. For now, we would operate under the assumption that JuJu Smith-Schuster will be out there against the Patriots, but his status obviously cannot be taken for granted.
Dec 14 - 4:38 PM

Ted Ginn (ribs) returned to a limited practice on Thursday.

Ginn injured his rib late in last week's loss to Atlanta but it's nothing serious. His presence Thursday suggests he'll be ready to suit up Sunday against the Jets. Ginn has averaged under 40 yards over his five-game touchdown drought and won't be a recommended play for the fantasy semifinals.
Dec 14 - 4:36 PM

Josh Norman (knee) returned to a limited practice on Thursday.

He's back after getting a breather on Wednesday. Norman should be ready to go Sunday against Arizona. Because Norman stays glued to the left side, his presence won't be a downgrade to Larry Fitzgerald's matchup.
Dec 14 - 4:24 PM

Mike Wallace (ankle) expects to play Week 15 against the Browns.

Wallace has sat out practice the last two days but isn't concerned about his status for Sunday's game in Cleveland. "I'm playing," he said. "You all don't even have to ask." Coming off strong games against the Steelers and Lions the past two weeks, Wallace will be a WR3 if he gets the green light.
Dec 14 - 4:11 PM

DeAndre Hopkins (toe) didn't practice on Thursday.

Hopkins wasn't listed on Wednesday's practice report, so this must be a new injury. It's too early to get a gauge on Hopkins' status, but if he were to sit against the Jaguars, it would make a brutal matchup even worse for fill-in quarterback T.J. Yates. Nuk leads the NFL with 11 touchdowns this year and ranks second in both catches (88) and receiving yards (1,233) behind Antonio Brown. His absence would be a big loss for fantasy owners.
