Shane Vereen (ankle) remained limited on Thursday.

Vereen will play against the Jets, but can't be counted on for more than 6-8 touches. He's an uninspiring RB3.
Dec 18 - 4:58 PM

Brandon LaFell (shoulder) remained "limited" on Thursday.

LaFell's Week 16 status is not in doubt. He'll be a solid WR2 against the Jets' bottom-three secondary.
Dec 18 - 4:58 PM

LeGarrette Blount (shoulder) remained limited in Thursday's practice.

Blount's Week 16 availability isn't in doubt, but his role is muddled with the re-emergence of Jonas Gray. Blount will be a touchdown-dependent FLEX play for the fantasy finals. Players who are still alive in season-long leagues need to try to do better.
Dec 18 - 4:57 PM

Frank Gore is "moving through the concussion protocol," and expected to start Saturday's game against the Chargers.

Gore practiced on Thursday, getting in a limited session. It's excellent news for the 49ers, as Carlos Hyde (ankle, back) is expected to be sidelined. Struggling mightily in the second half of the season, Gore will be a middling FLEX play for the fantasy finals. He'll be backed up by FB Bruce Miller and Alfonso Smith.
Dec 18 - 4:53 PM

Demaryius Thomas (ankle) is practicing in full for Week 16.

Thomas avoided setbacks with his ankle in Week 15, and is locked and loaded as a WR1 for the fantasy finals.
Dec 18 - 4:16 PM

Julius Thomas (ankle) is practicing in full for Week 16.

It's an upgrade on Week 15, where Orange Julius began the week as "limited." The Broncos have hoodwinked fantasy owners in back-to-back games with Thomas' health, but he finally, truly appears ready to be full go. Thomas is a mid-range TE1 for the fantasy finals.
Dec 18 - 4:14 PM

The Texans consider DeAndre Hopkins (ankle) a game-time decision for Week 16.

Hopkins missed Wednesday's practice. His Thursday status is unclear. The "game-time decision" label should be taken with a grain of salt, as Texans coach Bill O'Brien fancies himself a spymaster, and would apply the GTD tag to a player even if they were only battling a cold. For now, owners need to sit tight and wait for more information to emerge. A back-up plan is definitely in order.
Dec 18 - 4:08 PM

Garrett Graham (high-ankle sprain) is expected to remain sidelined for Week 16.

The disappointing tight end has likely played his final snap of 2014.
