Jeremy Lin (hamstring) is not listed on the injury report and is expected to play Friday night vs. the Nuggets.

Lin has not appeared in a game since the day after Christmas. And he has played in just seven games since the start of November. Being injury prone obviously makes him a risky add, especially because the Nets will err on the side of caution and limit his minutes the rest of the way. However, he has averaged 13.9 points, 5.8 assists, 3.1 rebounds, 1.3 treys and 1.3 steals in the 12 games he's played in this season. He's worth a flier if you have room on your roster.

Nerlens Noel is not expected to make his Mavs debut on Friday night vs. Minnesota.

Noel is listed as out and not yet with the team. The Mavs next game is Saturday night at home vs. the Pelicans. Noel's fantasy stock has received a major boost via the trade to Dallas, especially since the Mavs have waived Andrew Bogut. In fact, it could be argued Noel is one of the biggest winners among all players on the move at the deadline. Considering Dallas traded for Noel with the intention of signing him long-term, Noel is expected to be installed as the starter and play heavy minutes immediately.

Quincy Acy (ankle) will not play Friday night in Denver.

Acy sprained his ankle back on February 5th and has not appeared in a game since. He was expected to return after having a week to rest but is obviously not yet 100 percent. The fantasy impact is minimal, as Acy is averaging just 11.2 minutes per contest in the 12 games he played as a Net.

Cavs general manager David Griffin said that J.R. Smith (thumb) is doing very well and may be "slightly ahead of schedule."

Smith has been seen working out on the court prior to each of the Cavs last two games. Smith was originally projected to miss 12-14 weeks after undergoing thumb surgery back on Dec. 20. If he returns by the 12-week mark, he'd be back in action by mid-March. However, Smith will likely have his playing time limited initially. In addition, with Iman Shumpert and Kyle Korver playing well, there isn't an excess of minutes to go around. Smith can be left on the wire.

The Milwaukee Bucks are planning to sign Axel Toupane of the Raptors 905 to a 10-day contract.

Very limited fantasy impact here, as it is extremely unlikely that Toupane will crack the rotation and see anything other than garbage-time minutes.

According to the Akron Beacon Journal, Larry Sanders was arrested last year on a felony charge in Los Angeles.

The ABJ reports: "According to Los Angeles Sherriff’s Department jail records, Sanders was arrested on June 12 and booked into the Van Nuys jail. His bail was set at $50,000." Well, this helps shed light as to why Sanders has not been able to secure even a 10-day contract after trying out for numerous teams. Despite his size and skill, Sanders' off-court issues have scared teams away.

Utah is well below the salary floor and may be interested in claiming Deron Williams off waivers.

It has been widely reported that Williams will sign with the Cavs once he clears waivers; however, it's not a given that will happen. The Jazz are $4 million below the salary floor and thus can easily absorb the remainder of Williams contract. D-Will was originally drafted by the Jazz and still owns a home in Utah. The Cavs still appear to be the heavy favorites to land Williams if he clears waivers, but Utah will have a crack at him first. Williams fantasy value will take a big hit in either Cleveland or Utah, as he will be relegated to reserve duty.

The Suns plan to waive Jared Sullinger and Mike Scott and sign Ronnie Price for rest of the season.

Sullinger and Scott were acquired in deals just prior to Thursday's deadline. Price, who is currently on his second 10-day contract, has appeared in just two two games for Phoenix. He should be left on waiver wires in all leagues.
