Friday's game between the Braves and Mets was suspended due to rain.

The Mets tied the score at 5-5 in the bottom of the eighth inning before there was a rain delay going into the top of the ninth. Play will resume Saturday at 6:10 p.m. ET after which the second game of the series will be played.

Jim Henderson - R - Brewers

Jim Henderson was removed from Friday's game against the Pirates during a save opportunity due to a right hamstring injury.

No word yet on the extent of the injury, or how much time he could be sidelined, but Henderson didn't sound very encouraged when talking with reporters after the game. He said that the injury occurred while attempting to field a ground ball off the bat of Russell Martin. Brewers manager Ron Roenicke said that if Henderson were to miss time, he would employ a closer-by-committee including Francisco Rodriguez, John Axford and Michael Gonzalez.

Chris Young - OF - Athletics

Chris Young launched a go-ahead three-run homer in the ninth inning in Friday's 6-5 win over the Astros.

The clutch blast capped a big night for the Houston native, as he went 3-for-5 with two runs scored. Young is batting just .189 through 28 games this season, but he still has produced five home runs, 19 RBI, five stolen bases and 15 runs scored. He's worth considering in deeper mixed fantasy leagues.

Jose Veras - R - Astros

Jose Veras blew his third save of the season Friday and took the loss against the Athletics.

Veras entered the ninth with a 5-3 cushion, but he walked two batters before surrendering a go-ahead three-run homer to Chris Young. The 32-year-old right-hander has quietly been pretty solid of late, notching six saves over a span of seven scoreless appearances. The Astros aren't going to win many games this year, but his job is safe for now.

Tommy Milone - S - Athletics

Tommy Milone yielded five runs over seven innings Friday as part of a no-decision against the Astros.

All five runs scored in the fifth inning, as Milone gave up a solo homer to Matt Dominguez, an RBI single to Jose Altuve and a two-run homer to J.D. Martinez. He struck out six and walked none in the no-decision. Milone now owns a 3.80 ERA on the season, though he unsurprisingly has enjoyed most of his success at home. He'll get the Giants next week in San Francisco.

Erik Bedard - S - Astros

Erik Bedard gave up two runs in five innings Friday in a no-decision against the Athletics.

Bedard was in line for his first victory of the season, but Jose Veras coughed up the lead in the top of the ninth. The veteran southpaw wasn't all that efficient, as he gave up four hits and walked five while throwing just 54 out of 99 pitches for strikes. Bedard has had better results recently, but there's little reason for optimism in fantasy leagues, especially with a start against the Rockies in Colorado next week.

J.D. Martinez - OF - Astros

J.D. Martinez went 2-for-4 with a three-run home run in Friday's loss to the Athletics.

Martinez has now homered in back-to-back games and is hitting .363 (12-for-33) since returning from the disabled list earlier this month. Astros manager Bo Porter has moved him into the heart of the lineup in recent days, so he should continue to provide value in NL-only leagues.

Roberto Hernandez - S - Rays

Rays manager Joe Maddon said Friday that despite his recent struggles, he didn't anticipate any discussion about dropping Roberto Hernandez from the rotation.

After Friday's disaster, Hernandez owns a horrifying 5.73 ERA and 1.37 WHIP on the season. With Chris Archer pitching well at Triple-A, and Jake Odorizzi already in the rotation, if Hernandez continues to struggle he could get booted from the rotation once David Price is able to return. He shouldn't be trusted in any fantasy format at this point.
