White Sox recalled RHP Andre Rienzo from Triple-A Charlotte.

Rienzo had a 4.85 ERA and 9/7 K/BB ratio through three starts this season at the Triple-A level. The 25-year-old Brazilian is doubtful to carry fantasy relevance.

White Sox sent LHP Donnie Veal outright to Triple-A Charlotte.

Veal was designated for assignment on Thursday after yielding six hits, seven walks, and five runs in six innings of relief. He made it through waivers unclaimed.

White Sox placed RHP Felipe Paulino on the 15-day disabled list.

Paulino was rocked for 10 runs on 13 hits in just 3 2/3 innings Friday night against the Rangers. He'll probably be moved to the bullpen when his health returns.

Carlos Beltran (shoulder, wrist) is back in the Yankees' starting lineup on Saturday against the Rays.

Beltran sat out of Friday's game after flipping over a short outfield fence while trying to make a diving catch on Thursday. He has some soreness in his right shoulder and wrist, but an MRI was taken and came up clean.

Lance Lynn yielded one run over 5 2/3 innings in Saturday's 4-3 win over the Nationals.

Lynn left with the bases loaded and two out in the bottom of the sixth inning. Fortunately for him, Kevin Siegrest was able to get Danny Espinosa to fly out to center field to end the threat. Lynn gave up five hits and three walks while fanning five batters. Oh, and he also had an RBI double in a three-run second inning against Jordan Zimmermann. He's now 4-0 with a 3.42 ERA and 27/7 K/BB ratio through 23 2/3 innings. The Mets are on tap for next week.

Trevor Rosenthal persevered through a shaky ninth inning Saturday against the Nationals to lock down his fifth save of the season.

After entering the bottom of the ninth inning with a two-run lead, Rosenthal got Nate McLouth to pop out to first base for the first out. However, he then walked Zach Walters before he was hit with a comebacker and made a late throw to second base while trying to force the lead runner. Making matters worse, he then balked to move both runners into scoring position. While the Nationals cut the lead to one run with a ground out by Kevin Frandsen, Rosenthal struck out Jayson Werth swinging with a 99 mph fastball to end it. Things have been bumpier than expected for Rosenthal in the early going, giving up seven runs in 9 1/3 innings, but he still has a chance to emerge as a top fantasy closer this year.

Jordan Zimmermann took the loss Saturday after giving up four runs -- one earned -- over seven innings against the Cardinals.

A throwing error by Anthony Rendon in the third inning opened the door for three runs to score. Zimmerman fanned six and walked a pair in the loss. He now owns a 3.92 ERA through four starts and has worked seven innings in back-to-back outings. The Nationals will send him to the hill against the Angels next week at home in an interleague matchup.

Bryce Harper was pulled from Saturday's loss to the Cardinals for not running out a groundball.

Nationals manager Matt Williams called it a "lack of hustle." Harper has been bothered for over a week by quad discomfort, so you can understand why he might be taking it easy on routine groundouts. This is a truly odd situation, but one that should ultimately blow over. "I respect what he did," Harper told the media.
