Making another start for Portland on Sunday, Jusuf Nurkic posted eight points, four rebounds, two assists and one steal, making 3-of-9 FGs and 2-of-3 FTs in 21 minutes.

Nurk's transition to starting for the Blazers has gone very well, rewarding any owners who snatched him after the trade, but he was limited tonight by some early foul trouble. The big man had a few teeth knocked out in the fourth quarter, but he continued playing and didn't bleed because he has a dental bridge. He should be fine for Tuesday's game but we'll put him on the injury report as a precaution.

Andre Drummond ended up with 17 points, 15 rebounds and a pair of steals in 36 minutes Sunday against the Celtics, but he was terrible from the free-throw line.

Hack-a-Drum was in effect in the Motor City, as Drummond was sent to the line 11 times. While he hit eight of his 13 field-goal attempts, he was able to knock down just one of his attempts from the charity stripe. He has been poor from the free-throw line, but he isn't usually this bad.

Isaiah Thomas finished with a game-high 33 points in Sunday's 104-98 victory against the Pistons, including five more 3-pointers.

The Celtics have set their single season record for made 3-pointers with 23 games left and Thomas has been a huge part of the success. He has three or more triples in seven straight outings, and 15 of his past 16. Thomas is averaging more than three successful 3-pointers per game in each of his past three months played. He has also scored at least 20 points in 43 straight games.

Al Horford managed just two field goals on 11 attempts in Sunday's game against the Pistons, finishing with four points, nine rebounds, five assists and a blocked shot.

Horford has been has hit over 45 percent of his shots from the floor overall this season, but he is in a rare shooting slump with just eight field goals on 26 attempts (.308) over the past three outings. He has three straight single-digit point totals in the regular season for the first time since a four-game stretch from March 25-31, 2009. Don't do anything rash, however, as he remains a top-notch fantasy option and is just having temporary struggles.
Feb 26 - 9:10 PM

Cory Joseph got another start on Sunday, posting 14 points on 6-of-12 shooting with six assists, one rebound, one steal, one 3-pointer and one turnover in 33 minutes.

Delon Wright earned some fourth-quarter minutes tonight, alongside Norman Powell, but CoJo took the reins down the stretch. Kyle Lowry (wrist) was out again tonight and it's unclear when he might return -- until a timetable is established, it makes sense to hold CoJo for short-term value.

Serge Ibaka finished Sunday's win vs. Portland with 18 points on 8-of-15 shooting, 10 rebounds, two assists, two steals, one block and two 3-pointers in 34 minutes.

Ibaka has made a seamless transition to Toronto, to the relief of his fantasy owners, and coach Dwane Casey has clearly encouraged him to shoot from the perimeter. His arrival hasn't been good news for the team's other big men, however, particularly Lucas Nogueira (10 minutes) and Patrick Patterson (19 minutes). Ibaka should continue to flirt with early-round value down the stretch.
Feb 26 - 9:07 PM

P.J. Tucker had a very quiet night on Sunday, coming off Toronto's bench with two points, one rebound and one assist in 21 minutes of action.

Tucker had a productive debut on Friday with nine points, 10 rebounds and three steals in 29 minutes, but this is more reflective of his role with DeMarre Carroll (32 minutes) healthy. He's still a decent steals specialist, but there should be players with higher upside on the waiver wire.
Feb 26 - 9:06 PM

Jonas Valanciunas made 7-of-8 shots to finish Sunday's game with 15 points, seven rebounds, one assist and one block in 22 minutes.

The efficiency was there but the playing time wasn't, as JV logged 22 or fewer minutes for the fourth straight game. Serge Ibaka got hot in the fourth quarter of a close game and Valanciunas once again didn't leave the bench in the final frame. Dwane Casey has made no secret of his desire for a more versatile defensive lineup late in games, and Ibaka's arrival is a clear threat to JV's minutes. That said, he's still capable of posting solid value with minutes in the mid-20s.
