Coby Fleener caught 4-of-7 targets for 49 yards and a touchdown in the Colts' Week 3 win over the Jaguars.

He also dropped another would-be TD pass. Through three games, Fleener has turned in stat lines of 3-21, 1-13, and 4-49-1. He's very difficult to trust as more than a TE2 in fantasy. The Colts will host Tennessee in Week 4.

Fred Jackson rushed six times for 34 yards and caught 8 passes for 78 yards and a touchdown against the Chargers.

Jackson scored a hard-nosed 11-yard touchdown on a screen pass in the third quarter. It was Buffalo's only touchdown of the say. Jackson is still in a timeshare with C.J. Spiller, but Jackson is clearly the preferred passing-down and short-yardage back. Jackson will be an RB2/FLEX Week 4 against the Texans.

Julian Edelman had 10 catches for 84 yards in Sunday's Week 3 win over Oakland.

Edelman's 13 targets led the Patriots, and he was the clear No. 1 option. It was his fourth career game with at least 10 receptions. Edelman's only downside is he that continues to lose looks to Rob Gronkowski and Shane Vereen in the red-zone. He's a WR2 with upside in PPR formats.

Darren Sproles rushed two times for 20 yards and caught three passes for 30 yards in Sunday's Week 3 win over the Redskins.

In the most obvious letdown/regression spot of the week, Sproles was not a factor. He touched the ball just five times even though the Eagles ran 68 plays, falling way behind an ineffective LeSean McCoy (20 carries, 22 yards). This is the problem with Sproles as a fantasy player -- he's not a volume player, so he's dependent on big plays. Hopefully you sold high already.

Marques Colston caught 2-of-5 targets for 25 yards and a touchdown in the Saints' Week 3 win over the Vikings.

It was another quiet day for the Saints' No. 1 receiver until he found the end zone to cap off the Saints' first drive of the fourth quarter. Drew Brees was spreading the ball around in the Saints' home opener, targeting eight different pass catchers, including deep reserves Josh Hill, Ben Watson and Robert Meachem. Colston had quiet stretches in 2013, as well. He remains a weekly WR2 in the Saints' elite offense.
Sep 21 - 5:01 PM

Trent Richardson gained 57 yards on 14 carries and caught 3-of-4 targets for 23 yards in the Colts' Week 3 win over the Jaguars.

Most frustrating for those owners still starting T-Rich were back-to-back goal-line stuffs in the second half. The Colts promptly inserted Ahmad Bradshaw on third down, and Andrew Luck tossed a touchdown pass to Hakeem Nicks. Losing significant red-zone action to Bradshaw and still averaging under 4.0 YPC, Richardson is a weak RB2/flex in fantasy. The Colts host the Titans next.

Jordy Nelson caught 5-of-7 targets for 59 yards in the Packers' Week 3 loss to the Lions.

There wasn't much yardage to be had on a day where Aaron Rodgers had little time to throw, and was held to just 27 attempts. It's just a temporary setback for the elite WR1. There's going to be a lot more points when the Pack head to Soldier Field in Week 4.
Sep 21 - 4:58 PM

Hakeem Nicks caught 4-of-4 targets for 50 yards and a touchdown in the Colts' Week 3 win over the Jaguars.

After not scoring once in 15 games with the Giants last year, Nicks has two TDs through three games with the Colts. He has turned in yardage lines of 36, -4, and 50, however. Nicks' fantasy outlook would improve if T.Y. Hilton (ankle) missed extended action, with rookie Donte Moncrief entering in three-receiver sets. Keep an eye on Hilton's injury status during the forthcoming week.
