Isaiah Crowell is listed as the Browns' starting running back for Week 12.
Mike Pouncey has informed the Dolphins he wants to return to center in 2015.
Pouncey has been selfless this season moving to right guard in order for the Dolphins to get their best five linemen on the field. Samson Satele has been playing center with Daryn Colledge at left guard. Satele and Colledge are on one-year deals. Shelley Smith was signed to a two-year, $5.5 million contract in March to play guard, but has been a flop and is expected to be released in the spring.
NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports coach Jay Gruden has received support from upper management following his comments on Robert Griffin III this past week.
It's been hot at Redskins headquarters since RGIII threw his teammates under the bus after last week's home loss to Tampa Bay. Gruden fired back at his quarterback, saying RGIII needs to worry about himself. Coach also said the "clock's ticking" for RGIII and he's "auditioned long enough." Colt McCoy is a good bet to see more action before the end of the season. The higher-ups in D.C. backing the coach is a change from 2013 when RGIII was the club's golden boy who could do no wrong.
A source tells the Miami Herald that Lamar Miller (knee) will play in Sunday's game at Denver.
Miller's shoulder is not thought to be a real concern anymore, but he did pop up with a knee injury sustained in practice this week. It sounds like nothing to be overly concerned with. Miller was able to practice on a limited basis both Thursday and Friday, and the Herald's sources have been spot on with injuries this season. Owners can pencil Miller in as a low-end RB2 for Sunday's 4:25pm ET start.
The Houston Chronicle's John McClain "would be surprised" if Arian Foster (groin) is able to play Week 12 against the Bengals.
This meshes with other reports throughout the weekend. Foster was unable to practice all week and is expected to miss his second straight game. It'll be the Alfred Blue show once again this week after he racked up 36 carries in Week 11 against the Browns. Expect another heavy workload with Jonathan Grimes pitching in as the change-of-pace. Blue shapes up as a borderline RB1/2.
NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports Julius Thomas (ankle) will be "a true game-time decision."
Not even Thomas knows if he'll be playing yet, according to RapSheet. Thomas didn't practice at all this week. If he plays, expect him to be limited against the Dolphins. Owners need to make other plans with the 4:25 PM ET kickoff. Jacob Tamme would start for Thomas, but makes for a weak replacement.
NFL Network's Albert Breer reports Greg Jennings (ribs) is expected to play Week 12 against the Packers.
Jennings missed Wednesday and Thursday's practices before returning Friday and earning a questionable tag on the injury report. He's nothing more than a WR4/5.
Jonas Gray is expected to be active for Week 12 against the Lions despite oversleeping and missing Friday's practice.
LeGarrette Blount will also be active for the Patriots after being signed earlier in the week. New England will "divvy up" the carries between the two big backs, while Shane Vereen will also play heavy snaps. We're avoiding both Gray and Blount in fantasy against Detroit's stout interior run defense. Vereen is a fine RB2/FLEX option with the Lions allowing backs to catch the ball in space.
