Seahawks MLB Bobby Wagner suffered a sprained pectoral Week 5 against the Bengals.
Coach Pete Carroll said he did not know how long Wagner will be sidelined. His status will be updated throughout the week.
Panthers DE Jared Allen (back) wasn't seen at practice on Tuesday.
Allen pinched a nerve in his lower back against Tampa Bay in Week 4. It's a little concerning he's still not practicing after the bye week. Allen has been splitting time at right end with Ryan Delaire.
Browns OLB Scott Solomon is "expected to miss multiple weeks" with a knee injury.
Solomon suffered the knee injury Week 5 against the Ravens. He was able to finish the game, but coach Mike Pettine hinted after Solomon could miss several weeks. Solomon had just returned from a high-ankle sprain.
Falcons coach Dan Quinn said he "anticipates" Julio Jones (hamstring) will play Thursday against the Saints.
Jones was questionable for last week's game with a hamstring injury but wound up playing 73 of the Falcons' 80 offensive snaps. The Saints have allowed the 10th most passing yards in the league this year, so Julio should have a field day if he plays.
Bears coach John Fox was predictably vague when asked about Alshon Jeffery's (hamstring) status for Week 6.
"Our medical people are doing everything in their power, as well, to get him back," Fox said. "We'll see what this week brings." It is possible Jeffery suffered a setback in practice last week. He is extremely questionable for Detroit.
Bills released K Billy Cundiff.
They needed to make room on the roster for backup quarterback Josh Johnson. The Bills used Cundiff on kickoffs in Sunday's win against Tennessee. Now that role will be absorbed by placekicker Dan Carpenter.
Panthers MLB Luke Kuechly (concussion) returned to practice on Tuesday.
Kuechly is back after missing three games with a concussion. A.J. Klein filled in at middle linebacker during his absence.
Bills signed QB Josh Johnson, formerly of the Colts.
The move indicates concern about Tyrod Taylor, who is playing through an ankle injury. Johnson slots in as Buffalo's third quarterback behind Taylor and E.J. Manuel. Johnson knows OC Greg Roman's offense from their time together in San Francisco. It's now unclear if Taylor will play in Week 6.
