The Ravens are expected to use a committee to replace Dennis Pitta's production in the lineup.

Losing Pitta for the year due to another hip injury is a major blow to a Gary Kubiak offense that features the tight end. He had 16 catches on 21 targets through three weeks. "We're going to play our good players," coach John Harbaugh said. "So, who's on the field is going to depend on who are good players are and how the coaches decide to attack." The new starting tight end will be Owen Daniels, but he can't separate at age 31 and is a poor bet to sustain health. Versatile fullback Kyle Juszczyk, who led the Ravens in catches in the preseason, will also get more involved. And Kubiak may be forced to run more three-wide sets that bring Marlon Brown into play. Consider Daniels, whose best trait is knowing the offense like the back of his hand, a low-ceiling add.

Bears SS Ryan Mundy suffered a "serious stinger" in Monday night's Week 3 win over the Jets.

Mundy exited early in the first half. Prior to leaving, he returned an interception 45 yards for a touchdown. The Bears lost both Mundy and FS Chris Conte (shoulder) to injuries against the Jets. Career special teamer Danny McCray and rookie Brock Vereen were forced to step in. The safety spots remain question marks in the Windy City. Mundy has never missed a game in six seasons.
Sep 23 - 12:44 AM

Bilal Powell rushed for 13 yards on two carries and caught two passes for six yards in the Jets' Week 3 loss to the Bears.

Powell didn't see much, if any, action until the final drive when the Jets were in pass-first mode. He has no fantasy value as the distant No. 3 back.
Sep 23 - 12:40 AM

Jace Amaro caught three passes for 54 yards in the Jets' Week 3 loss to the Bears.

Amaro was targeted four times on the night, and played on the outside a bit with Eric Decker sidelined for most of the game with a hamstring injury. The lone target Amaro didn't reel in, he dropped. There's no re-draft value here.
Sep 23 - 12:33 AM

David Nelson caught three passes for 15 yards in the Jets' Week 3 loss to the Bears.

Nelson was targeted seven times, but had a rough night with two fumbles, though they were both recovered by the Jets. He belongs on the waiver wire.
Sep 23 - 12:32 AM

Brandon Marshall caught 1-of-6 targets for six yards in the Bears' Week 3 win over the Jets.

Marshall entered the night questionable due to his ankle injury. And in the second quarter, he re-tweaked the ankle while blocking. Marshall missed about seven minutes of game action but returned to play the entire second half. He clearly wasn't 100 percent, and the offense went through Alshon Jeffery. Marshall will need to be watched again on a short week prior to next Sunday's showdown with the Packers at home. He'll likely be questionable once again.
Sep 23 - 12:30 AM

Greg Salas caught two passes for 56 yards in the Jets' Week 3 loss to the Bears.

Salas saw extra playing time with Eric Decker hobbled by his hamstring. The slot receiver-type can be ignored and is well off the fantasy radar.
Sep 23 - 12:27 AM

Santonio Holmes caught two passes for nine yards in the Bears' Week 3 win over the Jets.

It was Holmes' return to New York. He saw just three targets on the night as the fifth option in the passing game. Holmes added one punt return for 11 yards. He won't have any fantasy value unless one of Alshon Jeffery or Brandon Marshall gets injured. Even then, at age 30, there won't be a ton of upside.
