Mike Trout went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Saturday's win over the Marlins.

Trout gave the Angels an early lead with his 16th homer of the season in the first inning. He leads the league with those 16 homers, and he's also at the top of the leaderboard in batting average (.342) and runs scored (36), among others. His 36 RBI are an embarrassing fourth in the league, unfortunately.

Vance Worley allowed two runs over five innings in a loss to the Angels on Saturday.

Worley gave up just two hits on the afternoon, but his Marlins teammates couldn't muster enough offense to keep the right-hander from suffering the loss. Still, it was a step forward from Worley's subpar debut against the Dodgers his last time out, lowering his ERA from 6.75 to 5.00. The 29-year-old will continue to search for his first win of the season Thursday when he faces the Diamondbacks.

Antonio Bastardo (quad) began a rehab assignment with Triple-A Indianapolis on Saturday.

Bastardo made two appearances in extended spring training this week and apparently felt good enough to begin a minor league rehab stint. A strained left quad has sidelined him since late April.

Josh Lindblom (side) began a rehab assignment with Triple-A Indianapolis on Saturday.

Lindblom landed on the DL with side discomfort about a week ago and could be activated as soon as his 10 days are up. The right-hander holds a 7.94 ERA over four big league outings this year.

J.C. Ramirez yielded only an unearned run over seven innings of work Saturday in a win over the Marlins.

Ramirez scattered seven hits and a walk in the latest installment of what's been a wildly successful first two months for the right-hander. The win improved him to 5-3 with a 3.38 ERA and 1.16 WHIP through 12 games, including nine starts. He's provided impressive length in those nine starts, four times going seven innings and registering five quality starts. He'll get back to facing American League opponents Thursday when the Angels host the Twins.

According to Paul Hoynes of the Cleveland Plain Dealer, "indications" are that Danny Salazar could be moved to the bullpen.

Cleveland will need to bump someone from the starting rotation with Corey Kluber (back) returning Thursday against the Athletics. With Mike Clevinger pitching extremely well (2-1, 2.82 ERA), it looks like Salazar could be the odd man out. Salazar only has three quality starts in 10 outings this year while struggling to a 5.50 ERA.

Mike Moustakas went 3-for-4 with a home run to help the Royals best the Indians 5-2 on Saturday.

He's now homered in three of his past four games, and the third baseman has 13 homers in 43 games this year. It's been a much-needed surge for the 28-year-old, whose average had dipped to .250 in the middle of this month after his hot start to the year. Through Saturday, Moustakas is hitting .260/.297/.526 with 26 RBI and 23 runs scored.

Francisco Lindor went 2-for-4 with a double and a solo home run in a loss to the Royals on Saturday.

Lindor took Royals starter Jason Vargas deep as the second batter the southpaw faced, his 11th homer of the season. He also attempted to start a rally in the ninth inning with a two-out double, but he was stranded on second base to end the game. Lindor quietly has a 12-game hitting streak going, leaving him with a .283/.346/.545 line, 11 homers, 24 RBI and 33 runs scored overall.
