Rob Kelley rushed seven times for 16 yards in the Redskins' Week 7 loss to the Eagles.

Oct 24 - 12:36 AM

Jamison Crowder caught 2-of-6 targets for 28 yards in the Redskins' Week 7 loss to the Eagles.

He continues to be a huge disappointment. The only real positive from Monday night is that Crowder played a team-high 58-of-64 offensive snaps and was second on the team in targets behind Jordan Reed's 10. Crowder has yet to put anything on paper, however, and will be a WR4 next week vs. Dallas.
Oct 24 - 12:34 AM

Alshon Jeffery caught just 2-of-6 targets for 37 yards in the Eagles' Week 7 win over the Redskins.

Even with stud CB Josh Norman out of the lineup, Jeffery was unable to get anything going against the Redskins. He's yet to have a 100-yard game with his new team and continues to be out-produced by both Zach Ertz and Nelson Agholor in the Eagles' pass game. Jeffery gets a plum draw against the 49ers in Philadelphia in Week 8, but he's still just a borderline WR2/3.
Oct 24 - 12:30 AM

Vernon Davis caught all four of his targets for 67 yards in the Redskins' Week 7 loss to the Eagles.

Davis has gone for at least 58 yards receiving in four consecutive games. Even as the No. 2 tight end in this Redskins offense, he's on the fantasy radar because Washington loves to use its tight ends in the pass game. Davis picked up back-to-back 31-yard catches in the first half and remains one of the fastest players at the position. He'll be a TE2 next week against Dallas.
Oct 24 - 12:28 AM

Nelson Agholor caught 4-of-5 targets for 45 yards and one touchdown in the Eagles' Week 7 win over the Redskins.

Agholor has forced himself into the WR3 conversation and should obviously be owned in all formats. He's brimming with confidence in his third season and is making all the catches, snagging a laser strike from Carson Wentz over the middle in the fourth quarter for his fifth touchdown on the young season. He's managed at least 58 yards and/or one touchdown in 6-of-7 games. Agholor gets a tasty matchup against a leaky 49ers secondary at home in Philly in Week 8.
Oct 24 - 12:24 AM

Chris Thompson rushed seven times for 38 yards and caught all five of his targets for 26 yards and one touchdown in the Redskins' Week 7 loss to the Eagles.

Thompson has now totaled 100 yards and/or scored a touchdown in 5-of-6 games. He's not going away, even if the Redskins refuse to increase his workload. Running Rob Kelley on early downs simply isn't working, and it's putting the offense behind in down and distance. Washington needs to commit to going pass-heavy and leaving Thompson on the field. He's also the team's best pass-protecting running back. Thompson will be an RB2/3 next week at home against the Cowboys, but his floor remains low due to the low volume and eventual regression to the mean in the touchdown department.
Oct 24 - 12:20 AM

Wendell Smallwood rushed eight times for 25 yards in the Eagles' Week 7 win over the Redskins.

He added two catches for 14 yards on two targets in the pass game. Smallwood missed the previous two games with a knee injury but returned and got the start on Monday night. He out-carried LeGarrette Blount 7-3 in the first half, but Blount got 11 carries to Smallwood's one after the break. Smallwood also lost out to Corey Clement on a nine-yard receiving touchdown in the third quarter. The Eagles use all three backs, making Smallwood a mere RB4 for now.
Oct 24 - 12:18 AM

Kirk Cousins completed 30-of-40 passes for 306 yards, three touchdowns, and one interception in the Redskins' Week 7 loss to the Eagles.

He was sacked four times, and the interception was a horrific throw right to DB Corey Graham deep in the Redskins' territory on a play Cousins was hit by the pass rush. It essentially sealed the loss for the Redskins. But statistically, this was one of Cousins' better games of the season, as he and Jordan Reed hooked up for their first two touchdown connections of the season. Cousins has now thrown for at least 300 yards and multiple touchdowns in three of the last four games. He'll be a QB1 next week in a home game against the Cowboys.
